I couldn't believe that bull shit, he comes back in the picture and sweeps Mo off her feet and before anyone cold say anything there was gun shots. I looked back and saw ole boy was dragging Mo out the club with his gun out aiming. I shook my head and just walked through the screaming people till I felt my body burn and a hot sensation spew out of me. I touched my chest and saw blood.

"Shit slits man, your ass always getting hurt, come on" Kaiden said dragging me down some stairs and out the club.

I felt my eyes getting heavy. We was all in the parking lot.

"Yall either coming or move i need to get my nigga to the hospital...again" Kaiden said causing me to chuckle.

"Man shut up"

I could taste blood and it was making me feel sick.

"Come on Kaiden stop joking we need to get him to the hospital" Mo said panicking.

I shook my head.

"Why don't you go off to ya boy friend and stop worrying about me" I said before my eyes closed and I felt my breathing stop.

I shot niggas left and right, how dare niggas come shoot up my shit.

"Honey are you okay?" Michelle asked putting her gun away.

"Yeah, is anyone hurt?"

"Yes, we gottah go, Demonte was shot in the chest and stopped breathing, they don't know if he's dead or in shock" She said wiping her face.

Demonte was like another son.

"Shit" I said throwing glass bottles on the floor. "You go, I have to sort out here, the police would be here in any minute"

"Okay hun, keep safe" She said kissing me then running off out the club.

I sighed and saw Curtis my body guard.

"Boss is everything cool?" He asked.

"Nah, Slits got shot, but I need to you take my gun and go to the down stairs passage, the police will be here in any minute and I don't need no one to get bailed out of jail"

"Iyte" He said taking my gun and jogging down stairs.

I heard the police sirens then walked downstairs to the main entrance.

"Mr Carter, what happened?"

Thank God its Bill and em.

"Some young men shot up the place and left shooting one of my sons" I said wiping my hand down my face.

"Damn" Bill said. "We finna check out to see if we can find any evidence"

I gave them a nod, I was just waiting for a call fro someone about Demonte, if he die his mother finna whoop my ass.

I looked at Leianne in disgust as she cried hard af in Jada's arms.

"You alright?" Cordell asked handing me water.

I nodded and looked out the window. I saw yes to Cordell in the end seeing as Demonte wants nothing to do with me.

"When's this doc coming out with fucking information about my brother?" Kaiden yelled in the receptionist face.

Byron and Myron pulled him back and tried to calm him down. Demonte and Kaiden are like blood brothers for real, I always swore they were closer than me and Demonte's bond.

"Demonte Phillips" The doctor said walking in.

Since mum was here and Demonte's mum wasn't here yet she walked up to the doctor. We all watched as she burst into tears as the doctor walked away. I felt to cry watching her cry like that but I didn't have it in me. Everyone including Cordell walked up to my mum to find out what happened.

"He's in a coma" She cried out loud.

I felt my heart stop and my mind go blank. Leianne screamed then Demonte's mum walked in.

"Where's my baby what happened?"

Kaiden walked up to her and hugged her whispering into her ears. Her body shook in Kaiden's and she cried into him. Everyone crying but me and Cordell.

"Baby you alright, you can cry I know he's your best friend" He said hugging me slightly.

I looked up into his eyes but I felt nothing, no emotions, no tears.

"What a fucking birthday this turned out to be" I said before getting up and walking out the hospital.
