I looked up and saw my mums face in mine.
"Mum?" I managed to croak out.
I haven't seen her in months. She handed me a cup of water and I drunk it my throat instantly getting wet.
"How you know I was here?"
"Michelle rang me because she thought you had passed and I needed to see you before that was in thought, I flew back here moving back in to our old home" She said as if it was normal.
She left years ago when my dad got put in prison, I never thought i would see her again.
"Oh so at my death bed you willing to come back but on a normal day I couldn't get a phone call or a text?" I shook my head.
"Demonte, Its hard your just like your father in these streets but instead of jail you continue to end up in hospital and one day instead of hospital you will be 6 feet under without another blink of the world" She said tears trickling down her face.
"Man, right now I don't wanna talk about this or even talk to you so bounce"
She didn't even object, she got up and walked out the room. Eventually everyone piled into my room luckily I had my own room.
"Man, I hate you" Kaiden said sitting on the edge of my bed.
I chuckled.
"Never cried that hard in life and you had a nigga crying like a pussy, thought we lost you for real" He said dapping me.
"Like I always say you can't get rid of me that quickly"
Everyone said their says and found out I had to stay in a few weeks to adjust back by using my legs and arms again. Everyone left my room except one person.
"What you doing in here? Everyone's gone so you need to bounce too" I said harshly.
"What you really salty about Demonte?" Mo asked.
"Nun, I just want you to get to the stepping and just leave me and mine alone, I want you out my life for good"
"You don't mean that shit in a few days you gonna be blowing up my phone" She said looking at me with hurt all over her face.
"If that's what you think, keep telling your self that and when I don't, don't be hurt" I spat. "I'm officially done with you plus you taken why you even here?"
"Is this what allat is about?"
"Just leave Mo before I hurt ya feelings for real"
"I'm not leaving so you might as well hurt my feelings"
"I want you to leave this fucking room you fake and you a hoe, you fucked him and ran off saying yes to another dude, get the fuck out my face" I yelled now.
She looked shock but I knew she had a comeback.
"Because you confused, you will sweet talk me, kiss me , finger fuck me then be having Leianne suck ya dick as if we didn't just kiss hourse before, you trifling, you keep yelling and telling ya self you don't want her but I know you do, I know you want a family with her, then stop fucking with me" She said flipping her hair.
"You ain't allat Mo, you think I want you for sex and shit? I wanted you for more than that, it was me and you against the world but then ole boy came in the picture and turned you into a hoe, fucking with me and flirting with him, oh and dw I know yall slept with each other on ya birthday too, of course you wasn't that hurt for me to be in a coma" I spat.
She looked taken back.
"And how you figure that bull shit out?"
"You glowing baby girl, you been getting dick on a reg and my dick ain't been used since ya birthday so, enjoy it, stop fucking with me"
"Fine" She said standing up.
"Hold up" I said. "Come here"
"I knew it, you gonna kiss me now huh?" She said standing next to me.
I sat up carefully and snatched my necklace from around her neck.
"Demonte give it back or I'm fucking you up" She screamed.
"You don't need it ask ya man to get a new one, with his money" I said putting the necklace under my pillow.
"Demonte give me my fucking necklace back" she yelled.
I saw her eyes gloss up and laughed.
"You weak af, you want shit I brought you yet you have a man, gone now lil girl, I should have never fucked with your young ass, get the fuck out"
"I want my shit back first" She yelled causing more tears to come out.
Kaiden walked in about to say something when he saw her crying.
"Why?" I asked.
"It means something to me"
"Get out of here, Kaiden take ya damn sister out my Gadamn room" I said calmly.
He looked between us but pulled her out the room. I lay back down and looked up at the ceiling.
