Mariah Carter
I rubbed my stomach while looking at Tech. We still haven't spoken and since the Demonte accident he hasn't been in a talking mood but we need to get this over with. I text Mickel and told him to get his lil family ready because I was doing this today. Its been another month making me 5 months and making me show fat as hell now. Demonte still in a coma having Moniah, mum, his mum, dad, Leianne, Kaiden and Tech in distraught so hopefully this brightens up this month.
"Tech...we need to talk" I said looking up at him.
He looked at me funny then I realised I called him by his street name.
"Lucas, sorry I know Demonte not being out of hospital yet is killing you but we need to talk" I said.
I remembered what Mickel said about listening to him while he's talking so I sat back and looked at him.
"I'm hurt Mariah, and this beef we have is hurting me more, we ain't gottah tell ya dad I'm your babies father if you don't want that shit" He said rubbing his arm. "I just want you to be happy and for us to be cool" He said rubbing his eyes.
They were red and puffy, not helping that he's been smoking recently too.
"No, we are today, telling my dad that we are having a child...together" I said smiling faintly.
He smiled, I haven't seen him do that for a whole month.
"Today?" He asked.
"Today, today we tell my family and today you get to show me off to the world and let them know what you working with" I said.
"Man I love you" He said.
Once them words left his mouth I felt instant kicks in my stomach, I pulled his hand and placed it on my stomach and he smiled again.
Mickel Carter
"How do I look Kel? I want us to make a good impression, I mean I heard what happened to ya brother and I know everyone must still be emotional"
I hugged her tight sighing.
"Thank you Amina" I said kissing her lips.
She smiled.
"And you and the kids look fine, stop threatening, I got yall" I said.
She hugged me again then picked up Imani.
"Boys yall ready?" I asked.
"Yes dad" They both said smiling.
I sighed feeling my heart race while I got the kids situated in the back of the car.
"Everything is going to be fine" I said to myself before getting in the car and driving off.
Mrs 'Michelle' Carter
I put all the plates in the dish washer, everyone was round even Mrs Phillips and the Davis's. We was waiting on Mickel, Mariah said they both had news to share.
"Everyone okay? Anyone need anything?"
Everyone said their no's and we just sat there socializing, the best we done for a whole month when Mickel came in, with a beautiful female and 3 children.
"Mickel? That you?" Myron said shocked.
Everyone looked shocked but James looked more angry than anything.
"What's this?" He asked.
"Dad, everyone i know its been a crazy time but I have to do this, I promised Mariah" He said holding the females hand. "This is Amina, she's my girlfriend of 10 years"
"Shit, Amina Morris? Yall been together since school years" Cj said causing everyone to chuckle.
"You mean to tell me I'm a grandmother?" I said standing up.
"Yeah mum"
"And you got the balls now to finally tell your family this secret? You got 3 kids son and you didn't have the decency to tell none of us"
"I told Mariah"
He looked at Mariah then back at Mickel.
"3 children Mickel and you been in a relationship for 10 years?" James said.
I could see the hurt in his eyes. Moniah stood up and picked up the little girl from her mothers arms.
"Aaron, Andre and Imani" Kel said.
I watched as James got up and was about to get up and walk off when Mariah stood up.
"Dad...family" She took a deep breathe.
I looked at her waiting for another secret to scare this family.
"I'm pregnant"
"Oh hell" Kaiden said making everyone laugh.
"Seriously Mariah?" James said disappointed.
"With Tech's baby"
Everyone gasped and James just walked out the room.
"I will go talk to him" I said running off behind him.
Money 'Moniah' Carter
I played with the little girl then handed her to the twins seeing as they wanted to play too then walked over to Mickel and his girlfriend.
"Amina babe this is Moniah my little sister, she's also the youngest, sis this is Amina"
"Nice to meet you" I said smiling at her.
She snuggled up closer to Kel and waved. She's shy that's cute.
"So...why hide this I mean they apart of the family too Kel" I said kind of hurt. "And the fact you told Mariah and no one else kind of hurts too"
"Mo, don't even take it like that, I just wasn't ready I felt as if you all was just going to judge me, sometimes I thought yall all thought I was gay because I never had an open relationship like the rest of you" He said holding Amina's had.
I smiled and I could tell they were serious.
"Don't ever feel like that again Kel maybe dad might judge but none of us would, especially not me, you should know that none of us is perfect and you defiantly know that"
He sighed then looked at Amina.
"Kel she's right, I should you to my family straight, of course I was nervous and scared of the consequences but ain't we still here going strong with 3 precious children, babe your family deserved more than what they got, they missed their niece and nephews from birth but they ain't missing no more" She said kissing his hand.
He nodded then pulled me into a hug.
"Sorry Mo Mo" He said. "For real yall didn't deserve that, I was scared and how Mariah found out is because she caught Amina in my room while she was pregnant with Aaron years back"
"Damn, how did I not clock" I said teasing him.
"Lets go" Mrs Carter said.
Everyone stood up leaving us confused.
"The doctor said Demonte has woken up" She said smiling at me.
"Well damn lets go" Mickel said standing up.
