When I heard the muffled scream I looked around to find Alice, but she was no where to be found and neither was Joseph. Anger rises up on me and I push the girls off me that were stroking my arms and I try the find the source of the scream. I walk toward the stairs of the house and slowly start to walk up. When I make it to the top, I pause for a moment trying to strain my ears over the sound of the loud music. Finally I hear a few groans coming from the bedroom two doors to my right. I walk over to the closed door with shaking hands and swing the door open. My cheeks go red when I see that it's in fact Matt and that freshman girl Sarah in the bed. They both look up at me and she tries to cover herself up with the sheet. "Oh crap, um I'm really sorry. I will just leave you guys to it. Sorry again." I stutter. I quickly close the door and suddenly I hear a few sobs coming from the room across the hall. The anger rises back up when I remember why I am up here and I speed walk to the other side of the hall and practically kick the door to the room open. Immediately I see Alice on the bed struggling to push Joseph off of her while he starts to kiss her color bone and starting to unbuckle her jeans. When Alice sees me her eyes light up and give me a pleading look. I walk slowly over the Joseph and he glances up at me just to roll his eyes and continue kissing her. I give him a huge shove and yell "you think it's funny to mess with a girl like that?" He lands on the floor, laughing, and he replies "dude, mind your own business." I walk over to him and kick him in to nose, hearing a huge crack. He whimpers in pain and stands up getting his fist reading to punch me. But I grab his wrist and twist it behind his back which makes him yell out. "Don't ever touch her again. Do you hear me?" I whisper into his ear. He nods and I yell "I said did you hear me?" He answers quietly and says "yes I'm sorry" "I'm not the one you should be apologizing to" I say, nodding toward Alice. "I'm sorry Abby." He says. "Alice, you douche." She answers. A smile creeps across my face and Joseph runs out of the room. I look over toward Alice and she is staring at me, "Why haven't you been talking to me and ten you suddenly burst in and save me? Why didn't you just leave me with Joseph?" She asks me. "It's those golden curls." I whisper to myself. "What?" She asks me. "Nothing. I tell her. "Let's get you back home." She tries to stand up but she flops back down on the bed while holding her head. I laugh at her and she gives me an icy stare. I walk over to the bed and pick her up bride style. I start walking down the stairs when I hear snoring from my shoulder and I look down to see Alice asleep in my arms. "Just for the record, I like your hair curly and strait. You're beautiful either way." I tell to the sleeping figure in my arms. I walk out of the house and to my car. I set her in the passenger seat, buckle her in then start to drive in the direction of her house. When we get to her house. I wake her up, while trying to unbuckle her. "Ya know you're extremely hot" I hear her say. I look up at her say "Alice you're drunk" she giggles and says "you're completely right." She slowly gets out of the car and I grab her arm in support. I walk her to the door, tell her goodnight and I am walking down the steps when I hear her say softly "Thank you" I turn back and give her a quick smile. I get back into my car and stare at her until she finally gets into her house.
