"You want me to meet your parents?" I ask her in disbelief"

She nods her head, "They said that if you're taking me to Homecoming then they want to get to know you."

I let out a sigh and let my head fall back into the car headrest.

"Come on they're going to love you." She reassures me. "Just like me." I hear her whisper.

I give her a confused look but it changes into a smirk when she gives me a look like she doesn't know what I am looking at.

"Ok" I cave. "What time should I come by?"

"Does seven work?" She asks.

I nod at her. I have never been good with meeting parents.

"Thank you!" She squeals. Kissing me on the cheek and I turn my face so that I'm kissing her on the lips.

"Of course, Princess."

She grins wide and her cheeks tinge pink.

"See you later." She tells me before slamming the car door and walking up her front step.

I stare at her until she gets into her house, letting out a little chuckle, I drive off toward my house.

"Dude, you're meeting her parents?" Matt asks from his position on my bed. "That's serious."

I nod my head, "I think it's time that I get serious." I yell out to him from the bathroom.

I slick back my brown hair with some gel and and look at myself in the mirror. I am wearing a pair of nice black slacks with a white button down shirt and bow tie. I would be lying to myself I said that I wasn't nervous.

"How about you and Sarah?" I ask Matt, stepping out of the bathroom.

"She is an animal, man." Matt tells me, falling backwards on my bed.
"She is over pretty much every night, now that my mom works late. I never thought I would say this about a freshman but damn."

I laugh at him, "Have you ever actually talked to her?" I ask him.

He nods. "All the time"

I scoff, "What's her favorite color?"

He looks around my room, avoiding my eyes, "Ok maybe we don't talk but she's too busy trying the get in my pants."

"Is that her fault our yours?"

"Ok, maybe it's mine. But she likes it, too."

"Yea whatever."

"Speaking of that, have you and Alive done the deed yet?"

I look over at Matt with a shocked look on my face, "Alice isn't like that. She actually cares about me and I love that about her." I grin at the ground.

Matt gapes at me, "God Mason, you're so whipped." He tells me.

"Am not!" I say defensively

Matt just gives me a look and I know he's right.

"Oh would you look at the time!" I comment, pointing at my wrist which is vacant of a watch.

I grab my jacket and walk out the door, with Matt right at my heals.
"I live right next door to them, remember? I'm coming with you." Matt Insists.

Matt slides into the passenger seat and I get behind the wheel.

It takes about 5 minutes to get to Alice's house and Matt waves at me before walking into his own house.
