Chapter 4

"There she is! The girl who got rejected after confessing to Newt!" someone yelled

I frowned and put my hood lower. "I heard she was totally humiliated"

And lunch, "hey, hey, it's her!"

"Two story houses are really great, aren't they?" Dad asked bringing more boxes

"Where's the scissors?" I asked, looking the boxes

"Never mind found it" I frowned

"(Y/N) you don't look good, is everything okay?"

"Sure"

"Look! You do you know how old this table is?" he said wiping a wooden table

"Probably older than me"

"That's right! This table is 21 years old, and there's not even a scratch, it's really sturdy" he knocked on it "Ow, that's really hard" he laughed "you used to play with it when you were younger"

He sat besides me and started emptying the other box. "There it is! Here look at this, it's super cute, isn't it?" he said handing me a wooded board that has my mom's and mine's handprints. (Sadly in this story, your mom passed away when you were 4 years old)

"My hand is similar to moms" I said placing my hand on her handprint. I took the stand for it and placed it in the kitchen counter. Then the door rang.

"I'll get it" I smiled opening the door

It was Maya, Clair and Minho

"Woah your house is really big" commented Maya

"It's so great in here!" said Minho

"Alright, are you guys done touring the house?" my dad smiled, "(Y/N) help me set the table"

"I'll help" said Claire "Yeah! Me too!" added Minho

"Hey Maya, mind helping us?" I asked

"Nah I'm good" we laughed

"Woah, Mr. (Y/L/N) this is awesome!" Minho said, taking another bite

"So are you gonna pass the business down to (Y/N)?" he asked

"Well, I wish, but, she doesn't wanna be a cook"

"What?!? But these are so good! You can't let it go down" he argued

"How bout this, I carry on with your business" he suggested

"The heck?" said Maya, she doesn't like cussing when older people are around

"What?! You can't let the business go down, this is like heaven!" Minho pleaded

"Yeah, but it's not a bad idea to donate everything to charities either"

"But whe-" "no! You can't do this!" he yelled banging his head on the wall.

"Hey Minho, stop that" I laughed but he kept on continuing

Suddenly, after he banged his head multiple times, the ceiling creaked

"What the heck are you trying to do? Destroy their house?" said Maya, pulling him away from the wall

"Nonsense, this house is really sturdy"

Suddenly, the ceiling started cracking, the walls and table started shaking.

"Is it an earthquake?" asked Claire

"Earthquake? Dad what are we gonna do?" I panicked

"This is a new house, stable and safe" the second he said that, the ceiling collapsed, the whole house was shaking. The glasses, shattering the pictures on the wall were falling.

"Everyone! Get out of the house!" yelled nobody in particular.

After we all made it outside, Dad asked, "Is everyone alright?" We all nodded

"How could this happen?!?" asked Maya

"Oh my! That's right! That!"

"What is it?" I asked

"That thing! Wait! Wait here!" he yelled going back inside

"Dad! What are you doing!" I yelled

"Don't worry I'll be back!"

It all happened too soon, the minute he went inside, the whole front of the house collapsed, blocking his only way out
