Chapter 2
We quickly rushed back to Dylan's house. He quickly blabbed everything we had seen. She just laughed and asked us to go to bed. Of course she didn't believe us. The reporter had been killed. But it was very late. We decided to investigate tomorrow.
Early next morning, we went to the place of the only one who could explain the presense of the carnivore. Professor Owen's huge dome labatory glowered in the distance. It look like a giand char siew bun that was overcooked for several hours.
Ashton stared at it. "I don't think we should enter," he stammered. I could see why. A huge hole had been torn through the side of the building. We piered in. The entire place was thrashed. The table had a huge gash at its side. Dylan examined it. "Torvosaur bite" he murmmered. Suddenly, we heard a huge amount of chattering. Not human anyway. We turned and saw something I could not believe we missed seeing. A portal.
It was a huge spiraling globe hovering above the ground. It glowed light blue and was simply mesmerizing. Instinctively, I walked towards it in awe. Suddenly, a huge object flew from the and almost hit me in the face. I could not believe my eyes.
A velociraptor!
