Chapter 3
Ok, unless you've watched Jurassic Park, you probably would not know what a velociraptor is. Let me make it clear. It is AS terrifying AS the T-Rex. I put the "as"'s in capital to show that I am serious. It is terrifying alone already. And it lives in a pack! Let me tell you a bit about the velociraptor:
1. It has excellent vision, scent and hearing.
2. It stands 2m tall and 3m long.
3. It has long, strong arms. Three times more powerful than a human's.
4. It has razor sharp teeth and claws.
5. It's long tail and powerful legs enable it to run more than 65km/h.
6. It's middle toe is the most formidable weapon. Curving up like a sickle and slashing down to tear open flesh.
Put all that and you get one of the most well adapted predators of all time: the velociraptor.
And one almost hit me in the face! I quickly jumped out of the way. It screeched in fury. It charged right at me, mouth gaping, teeth ready for the kill. I seized the nearest object I could feel. A fire extinguisher!
The next thing I knew, it flew out of my hand and smacked the raptor right in the snout, one of it's weakest positions. It screamed in agony. It rushed back to the portal and jumped through, leaving me and the rest silent and stunned.
