You spent the night in my bed
You woke up and you said
"Well, I wasn't expecting that!"

(1 week later)

Rocky

"My mum wants to meet you." I told her bluntly through the phone, holding it to my ear as I lay on my bed. My mum had broke the news to me this morning, that because I had been spending so much time with this girl since we met and I was infactuated with her she wanted to meet her. I had tried to object because we had only been dating for a week but she insisted, I guess just like me and hopefully just like Ella, she could tell it was something special.

"Are you serious?" She asked after a few seconds of silence that had stretched out for a while.

"Sadly."

"Yes."

"Really?" I was shocked to say the least that she had agreed so easily, I had expected her to say no out right or at least five minutes of me persuading her. Ella wasn't like that though.

"Give me an hour and a half to get ready then come and pick me up, alright." I nodded with a smile and then remebered that she couldn't see me.

"Sounds good."

-

An hour and a half had passed and in that time I had sat in the kitchen watching my mum cook quickly after she found out what was happening tonight while she kept telling me to go and do something else. I think she was glad when I had left the house to go and pick up Ella. Ella had a strange, everlasting kind of affect on me and if my mum didn't like her that would be very awkward but I was sure that my mum would love her.

I had texted her before I left the house so when I got there she was standing outside. A dark blue dress flowed from around her and it was nice but it still looked casual. Her hair was in a bun with curled pieces falling out around it, I couldn't understand how somebody could manage to look so beautiful all of the time but she managed to.

She grinned widely and ran over to the car, opening the passenger side door and climbing in. "Hello."

"Hey." She leaned towards me and pecked me on the lips quickly before sitting back. "Are you nervous?" I asked because it seemed like a big deal but I didn't want her to be nervous. I think if my mum was cautious about anything in our relationship it would be making sure that I treated my eighteen year old girlfriend right.

"Yeah but I'm kind of exited to. Who's going to be there?" I started the engine and began to drive as she spoke.

"Everyone's out till really late tonight or really early in the morning, so, it will just be you, me, mum and dad." She nodded and out conversation dispersed into silence as the radio played and we both sang along quietly. The ride was quick and before long we were climbing out and heading into my house. "Mum, dad were back."

Barely a second passed before my mum came rushing into the hallway with a wide smile and open arms. "Hello, I'm Stormie, it's lovely to meet you Ella." She spoke happily as she pulled Ella into a hug, I cringed in case Ella was uncomfortable with the sudden intimacy that my mum was showing but she looked happy.

"It's so nice to meet you too." Ella replied returning the hug as my dad walked into the hallway looking less hyper than my mum.

"Hello, I'm Mark." My dad stuck his hand it formally but Ella smiled and accepted the handshake.

"I hope you like pasta, Ella."

"Yes, I love Italian." She told my mum as we all walked into the kitchen and sat around the table where the meals were already set out.

-

"That was amazing!" Ella expressed after we had finished the meal and we sat there chatting for a while.

"We need to go, Ryland may have burnt the house down." My dad said during a stretch and we all laughed.

"Do you know what time everyone will be back?" Mum asked and I shook my head.

"Not for ages. I'll have to clean this up now, I miss living with you guys sometimes." I said looking at all of the washing up and dreading doing it.

"I'll help you clean it up." Ella offered as she leant her head on my shoulder, I looked down at her smiling and I could feel the glances of my parents. I could tell that they liked her and were happy at the way me and Ella were. My parents hugged is both before leaving me and then me and Ella began to wash the dishes which didn't exactly go to plan.

It took hardly any time at all before she had flicked water at me and it had turned into a full on fight. We both ended up soaking and I hadn't realised how late it had gotten. One thing I had noticed about Ella is that whenever I was with her time seemed to pass faster which contributed to why I wanted to spend every minute of every day with her.

"You're gonna stay here tonight, right?" I asked to make sure as we made our way up the stairs, my arms wrapped around her from behind as we shuffled up the stairs awkwardly.

"As long as you give me a shirt to sleep in." She nodded downwards to her damp and see through white top.

"Or you could just sleep with nothing on."

"Cheeky!" She laughed slapping my hip lightly which made me chuckle. We climbed the stairs that led to my bed and she kept marvelling at the layout of my room, it was pretty cool to be honest.

"I'm tired." She said quietly and sleepily as we lay down on my bed. I couldn't help but smile at the cuteness that never seemed to fade from her.

"Sleep then." I whispered into her neck as I wrapped my arms around her, keeping her as close to me as possible and my eyes closed.

-

The sun streamed through the room and I opened my eyes smiling immediately at the sight in front of me. Ella. It had been the first night she had spent in my bed and I couldn't help but feel like I wanted her to spend every single night with me.

"Are you staring at me?" She whispered into my chest; there was a small smile on her face.

"I can't help it, you're beautiful." She giggled.

"Well, I wasn't expecting that first thing in the morning but keep it up Lynch."

"Okay, I promise."
