The walk to the spot where we usually stand during break was short and filled with only a few shoves from strangers. They were all the same, they all had the same blank face with the wanting look to go home in their eyes.
I was greeted by my small group of friends with a playful punch on the shoulder from Conny, a hug from Lizzy and a kiss on the cheek from Sasha, which made my face heat up and the breath get caught in my throat as I returned the kiss. Then taking the mental note to punch Lizzy for awing.
"What did you do in Art today?" Sasha asked with a smirk dancing on her lips.. It's like she knew. I narrowed my eyes at her and giggled a bit before stuttering out a "W-well.. I-I.." And then whispering, "kinda maybe drew you."
I took the picture out of my bag and placed in in her hands motioning for her to stay silent as I slowly took a few steps back. Sasha put her hand up to her mouth and pretended to zip it shut.
A grin slowly appeared on my face as I hid behind Lizzy and Conny, to avoid further embarrassment. Remembering that I was suppost to punch Lizzy, I gave her a playful tap on the shoulder, which in return I got a tight, breath stealing hug.
When she let go I was pulled into another hug, this time it was Sasha. She kissed my cheek and thanked me. I just kissed her gently in return and linked arms with her.
"Sasha," I gently said and then called "Conny, Lizzy, Tina, Kevin, shall we go to PE?"
Then, a rare sight occurred. A unusually large portion of our years rejects started walking through a crowded area. Physical Education was going to be so fun...
