When I woke up, I was in a dark room, hard to see anything but what was right in front of me. I looked around, trying to remember what happened yesterday. I saw Adri and Max nearby, holding their heads in pain. Oh yeah, Slender man kidnapped us yesterday. Right as this thought entered my head, Slender man seemed to come out of nowhere, glaring at me. It didn't matter who he was, no one kidnaps my friends. I hunched back, and sucker punched him in the gut.
He stepped back, and it looked like he was thinking, Do you have a death wish? I started to run at him again, but it was like time was frozen still around me. I couldn't move at all, I could just watch him walk towards me. I saw Max and Adri by my side, probably frozen in time too.
The tall figure leaned down, and stared at me. He took off his clock mask, and revealed his face. He had deep blonde hair, and a heavily scarred, pale face. He smiled at me, then turned and walked away. "You have no idea how long I have been looking for you, Samuel Stardust. I apologize for the rude kidnapping, but I don't think you would have given me a choice. You galaxy protectors are always bashful, and I don't think you would want to join me if I asked."
What he said danced around my mind, messing with my thoughts. Protector? Of the galaxy? What does that mean? "Who are you, where are my friends and I, and can we go back to school now?"
He smiled at me, towering over me, "My real name is not important, you can just call me Father Time. You are in the protectors mansion. Here, the protectors train their powers, and learn to work together. No, you cannot go back to school, this is your new home."
I glared at him, feeling my weird powers start, "Who are the protectors? Why should I trust you-"
He held his hand up, silencing me. "Please, calm down. The other protectors will help explain what's going on. You just need to know that you have the powers of the universe, of space itself. You control what happens to this concept, and it can-"
That's about about the time when my microwave powers began.
It felt like a supernova just exploded out of my heart, directly at Father Time. A beam of wavy blackness emerged from my chest, and surround Father Time. He glared at me, screaming, "Calm down, Mr. Stardust! The more you let your emotions control you, then you more you can't control your powers! Take a second to breath, and relax."
I did as he told me, hoping it would help. Slowly, the beam retracted back into my chest, and the glow pulsing through me stopped. I let out a sigh of relief, and collapsed to the ground.
Father Time waved his hand upwards, and I gently floated in the air, until I was once again standing. Max and Adri seemed beyond scared, probably thinking I'll turn into a black hole again.
Father Time straightened his posture, and carried on as if nothing happened, "As I was saying, Mr. Stardust, you are the protector of the galaxy, a rather vast concept. However, you are not the only protector. There are more people like you, people just as powerful, if not more, right through this door. And if you promise to behave, then you may join us. What do you say, Samuel?"
I shifted uncomfortably. I wanted to try to black beam through the wall, and run away as fast as I could, but on the other hand, this could show me who I am starting to become. I nodded weakly, still off balance from me being a microwave, and followed Father Time in a dark hallway, into my new life.
A/N - Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but I hope you enjoyed chapter two! Who is Father Time? How is Sam getting all these crazy powers, and what will be Max and Adri's role in this? Find out soon enough my dear children!
