Adri looked back at Sam now that he was asleep. His midnight blue hair drooped over his eyes, showing no expression while sleeping.

Adri sighed, and sat down on the wood floor of his room at the protectors mansion, "Max, when do you and the protectors plan on telling Sam who we really are?"

Max looked back at Adri, and smiled, "We can't reveal Phoenix Mountain to him until later on. Speaking of which, I can't take this anymore." He said

Max transformed in a bright flash, brighter than Lux could ever pull off. After Adri could see Max again, he was in his normal Sorcerer wear again. Max had his bright white robe on, and his spell book at his side. Oh yeah, and the cat features.

Max itched his fiery orange cat ears, and then relaxed. "Oh, that's better! I wish I could just wear a beanie or something so that he couldn't see or something. Because even though he can't see them, they still itch like crazy." Max said.

While Sam was unconscious with the bag over his head, Adri and Max made a deal with Father Time not to reveal anything of Adri and Max to Sam, and they would help train him in the ways of the Protectors.

Adri smiled, and searched through his backpack, then grabbed something out, "Here it is! My hat back from our old Houston middle school." As he said that, he tossed it to Max, who caught it with ease, putting it on.

Max sighed in relief, "But what about my tail? I don't think Sam will find that normal..."

Max concentrated, and the tail shrunk back to its origin (Don't think about it too hard). "That will have to do, I guess. Also, I'll need to be careful when using the Phoenix's Claw. It might activate the spell."

Max raised his hand to his quartz dagger, and it magnetized to his grip. He slashed his dagger, known as the Phoenix's Claw, and the dagger burst into flames.

Adri looked at the dagger in concentration. The flames of the dagger  are the same color as Max's hair. He giggled as the thought entered his mind. Max stared quizzically at Adri, while the flaming dagger cooled off, "What's so funny?"

Adri waved it off, acting serious again, "Nothing. Is there any way you can deactivate the spell?"

Max thought about it, then shook his head, attaching the dagger to its sheath. "Not that I know of. Without of course, destroying the dagger itself-"

As Max was talking, a silent group entered  their room. A girl, and two boys. The girl was a pale, black haired Breaker. She stepped forward, and raised her hand forward. "My name is Bris Johnson. This is Travis Timor, and Cladis Malum. We have come for the protector of the galaxy. Hand him to us, and we will leave you two alone. Stay silent, and feel our wrath."

Max smiled coolly, and waved his finger in the air, "Not so fast, Breakers. I know exactly who you three are, and I should be the one making the threats."

Bris gave a wicked grin, "Is that so?! Well, you won't be that calm for long!"

The girl shot a black beam, much like Sam's, directly at Max. Max slowly reached for the book at his side, humming a calm tune. As the beam came hurling towards him, he stopped it in mid air. The girl looked shocked, and concentrated harder. The beam would not budge, and stayed inches from Max's face. Max grinned, "Yes, I should be making the threats. Adri and I mean you three no harm, but lay a finger on Sam, and you won't be alive for much longer. We won't attack you three"

Max snapped his fingers, and the three Breakers dissipated into nothingness, probably back to where they came from. Adri groaned, "Do you have to be so cocky whenever you fight someone? It's so annoy-"

Adri looked back to see Sam waking up, "Max! Switch back into your normal self before he wakes up!"

With a bright flash, Sam was awake.

A/N - Heyo my dear children!

What do you guys think of the Breakers? I'll give a better description soon enough! Now, time for the questions.

What is Phoenix Mountain? What is their relation to the Protectors, and how are they so powerful? They are a true force to be reckoned with :D
