Chapter 11

Spencer's POV

Christmas went quite well. Macy got the one thing that she has ever wanted, a hover board. I told family that I wanted absolutely nothing. I was happy when I got Christmas cards. But in every card, there would be a $20 bill or a $10 bill inside, causing me to shake my head.

Liam came by giving me food, after I told him I wanted nothing multiple times to get me nothing, and actually spent the night. I was glad that my dad got to know him. The boys had stopped by and my dad got to know them. That was very important because I have a feeling that they'll be around a lot.

Niall basically lived with us. His parents would be coming back in about three or two weeks. I had gotten annoyed with him quite a few times.

Monday, when he went to school, he tried to trick me into doing his homework. I actually almost did it if it wasn't for Louis texting me saying he was going to do so. That was the day when my mouth hurt like crazy! It was as if I had gotten a fishing hook caught inside my mouth, and someone was trying to pull it out. It was the worst feeling ever.

Tuesday, I would take thirty minute naps and wake up every twenty minutes. I was really missing school. Liam promised that he would help me with everything on Wednesday when I got back. It sucked missing school, it really did. I was hoping to go back in Wednesday but I had been complaining on my mouth. My dad would get onto me because he said I wasn't taking care of it.

Which leads to Thursday. Today I start my second day. School starts in exactly fifteen minutes. Me and Macy were ready, but dad was getting ready for work.

It's the usual morning routine. We get up, eat breakfast, brush our teeth, take a shower (if we didn't the night before), get dressed, do our hair, and then wait on dad. He works while we're at school and gets off when we get off, just an hour earlier.

"Okay girls! Let's get going."

"And that's the time I made out with a carrot." Louis explain to the group at lunch. Harry throws a carrot at him and we all laugh. "It's good to have you back Spencer." Louis looks at me. "Thank you! It's good to be back." I smile at him.

Lunch ended quickly and sooner than I knew, it came to 6th period. It was science class. In this class I had all the boys. Niall sat by Harry, Liam sat by Louis, and I sat next to a girl named Lauren. She was really nice and pretty. We've only talked twice.

"Okay class, with a partner, we will learn how to make slime. You all are high schoolers so you know how to act! I will not explain anything to you because the instructions are on the paper in front of you. Let's see how well you pay attention."

Everyone in the class starts talking to each other. They all got excited when he said "partner." All the guys turn to look at me and I give them I wave. I didn't want to choose.

"Don't get all excited! I'm choosing your partner." He gets out his roster. He calls names from here and there. Liam was paired with Harry and Louis was paired with Niall. He paired me up with Lauren. It would be nice to get to know her.

"Okay, shall we get started?" She smiles at me. I nod. "The ingredients say that we need, White Elmers Glue, Borax, Water, Two big bowls, and the food coloring is optional." With each ingredient she says I look at all of them.

We were the first ones done. I look over at Louis and he put food coloring in Niall's hair. "Oh Louis!" He yells. I laugh at him.

"So Spencer, would you like to get to know each other?" I turn around and look at Lauren. "Yeah, sure!"

She goes ok about telling me that she's in band and plays soccer. She plays the flute to be in fact. She's very smart and gets good grades. She has one other friend named Delilah but she just recently moved. Recently as in yesterday. She was her closest friend and was hoping if I can be her friend.

So now at lunch I won't have to sit with the boys and I can actually sit with a girl. I wouldn't mind it at all. Although I will miss them. But that didn't mean that we couldn't be friends.

She said that she has two younger brothers and no sisters. I think that we could be best friends. The only best friend that I had that was a girl was Macy. Now that I have Lauren, I could stop bugging Macy.

We can do the girl things I can't with the guys. Like, each other's hair. I'm able to do that with Harry, but it wouldn't be the same. We can talk bad about boys. We can understand what we go through that guys don't go through.

This was going to be a blast!

That was just a quick update! This is the last update until the New Year! That is if I don't update tomorrow..
