Chapter 14

This night has gotten weird. Noah likes me and Macy likes Niall. First off, me and Niall are to old for the two. Second, we have no interest in them. Sure Noah is cute and all, but he's not for me and is far to young!

I feel like some things are going to change. Why didn't Macy tell me she liked Niall? Did Lauren lie when she said that Noah liked Macy? All kinds of questions were going through my head as Lauren and I watch mean girls in my room.

"What are you thinking?" I look over at Lauren who paused the movie. "Just..I don't know why Macy didn't tell me she liked Niall." She tilts her head to the side. "Don't be silly!" I furrow my eyebrows at her. "What?" I nervously laugh.

She just laughs at me. Was something on my face? Was it my obsession with teddy bears? "You don't actually think that, do you?" I nod my head. She just continues to laugh. I'm missing out on be joke. "She only said that because Noah said that he would date you."

I'm still not understanding. "She was trying to make Noah jealous. Noah didn't want to admit to liking her, so that's why he said you. It's obvious!" Oh that's a relief. I breathe out loudly. "You're crazy! Noah has liked one of my friends before and he ended up heartbroken so he learned." She giggled.

"Uh, Spencer?" A knock was at my door. "Come in." I get up from my bed. The door slowly opens revealing Macy. I smile at her and she stands awkward. "I just want you to know, I don't like Niall. Never will I either!" She laughs at the last part. "Believe me, I don't like him." I nod slowly.

"It's just that, me and Noah talked a few times and it seemed like it was going good! We have a few classes together and he sits by me and Brandon in the classes we do have together. I actually thought we had a chance, you know, as dating." She looks into deep thought.

I understand what she's saying. "You have to know that it's going to take some time though! Take things slow!" This is coming from someone who can't keep a relationship. I actually felt relieved when she said that she didn't like Niall. Why do I feel like that? I can't like him!

"Thank you, Spencer!" She gives me a hug and I give her one in return. "Goodnight Lauren!" She waves at Lauren and Lauren waves back as she leaves the room. "We have to get them to date. It wouldn't be like we're forcing them, they already like each other, so why not?" Lauren laughs and I join her.

[ N I A L L ' S P O V ]

I'm going to beat that little kid up. Spencer is my girl. She simply just doesn't know it yet.

I like Spencer and she knows that. I mean, it's not like he's dating her, but still. I'm mentally dating her even if she doesn't like me.

I can't have any guy liking her. I've seen Connor giving her eyes in the hallway. I told him to stay away but he refused.

But, Noah! I don't know him but he is going to learn today that he is not going to mess with my girl. She's mine! I'm not sharing her with anyone. I really should ask her out because I can name about six guys already who's going to try.

Now that she has a 14 year old crushing on her, this wasn't going to be easy, letting him down easy. Sucks for him. "Niall?" I forgot he was in my room with Nathan.

They had to sleep in my room because it was the guest room. Over the weekend we added another bed in the room. I've been switching beds to sleep in and it's really fun. "What?" I say a little to harshly.

"Are you awake?" I roll my eyes, although he can't see me because it's dark. "Yeah. Obviously." "Oh." he says.
"You know, I don't really like Spencer." I sit up on my bed. "What?" I turn on the lamp.

"I don't like Spencer. I like Macy, I just didn't want to tell her. The fact that she likes you, makes me mad. I do know that she only said that because I said I liked Spencer." I laugh at him.

"What would you do if she did like me?" I raise an eyebrow. "Beat you to death. I may look scrawny and all. But I do take karate class and boxing for self defense."

"That's impressive. Does anyone else know about that?"

"Besides my mom, dad, and brother, no. Though I just told you."

"Well, what does Nathan do?"

"He just goes to the gym to work out. He's on the football team and I'm on the soccer team. I was a cheerleader for only two years in elementary. But Nathan gets most of the attention. Since I know you're on the football team, I'm sure you get a lot of the attention as well." He sighs and puts his head down.

"I actually do. But its no big deal."

"I bet you have all the girls falling to your feet!"

"I probably do but I don't notice. I only notice Spencer. I like her. More than I did with my last girlfriend. Well, my ex girlfriend. I don't care about those girls that fall to my feet. Spencer is the only girl that I really care for. I like like her. It's a big crush."

Him and I share a laugh. He's not that bad of a kid. He's charming for his age. He dresses a bit nerdy, I'll admit. But you can tell he tries tries to put in some effort.

"Let's get some sleep, okay?" He nods and I turn off the lamp. It was ten at night and I am exhausted. "I won't be able to get some sleep tonight."

"Well tomorrows another day buddy!" He chuckles. "Now go to sleep!"

You probably seen a lot of spelling errors. I'm having some difficulties on my phone. Its a Iphone 5s and it freezes every now and then.

I've been writing the bottom half on my tablet and the top half was my phone before it started messing up.
