Chapter 12
School has been stressing lately. New year, new stress. It's been a real pain in the butt. It's all about the upcoming testing before our next three day break that'll be here soon. Can the teachers chill for a moment before planning test all at the same time? I'll have to be studying extra tomorrow. Tomorrow was finally Friday and I couldn't be more relieved. We walk out of our last class and I meet up with Lauren.
Posters fill the halls of Riverdell High School talking about the upcoming Valentine dance. Me and Lauren aren't exactly as excited for it as the other girls. Besides, it's January! February isn't close yet.
I could care less about it. "Someone's getting crushed on." Lauren nudges my side with her elbow, directing her head towards Connor. He gives me a smile then turns back to his locker. I laugh to myself as he slams it and gets his shirt caught in it.
He turns around to see if anyone had seen him and his eyes meet mine again and he blushes. He turns away embarrassed and gets his shirt out. Yeah, Connor was pretty cute. Niall hates how I've been texting him so much.
Speaking about Niall, his parents would be coming in like four days or so. I was relieved because I hated him at my house.
Don't get me wrong, he's adorable and I love him and all. It's just that he's so clingy!
I would be eating my cereal at the table and he would come and eat next to me. That doesn't seem like nothing. But when he stares at me while he eats and tries to look at my phone and holds my hand, it's annoying!
Or when I would be going inside my room and shutting the door making sure he's not following, he's already in my bed!
One night I shut my door and I was laying down. I turned around and I met face to face with a stranger and screamed. If it wasn't for his hand stopping me, he would have had a bloody nose and another black eye.
It was finally the end of the day and I couldn't wait to get home and sleep. That's all I've been thinking about. "Hey, do you think that tomorrow I can spend a night at your house? My parents will be out at dinner and I don't want to be there when they come home."
We were walking to my locker. I pushed my books inside my backpack and we head outside and wait for our rides home. My feet were really killing me.
I nod telling her yes. "But what about your brothers?" She curses to herself and I laugh. "Well, thanks but never mind." She sighs. "Why don't you just bring them? How old are they?"
It takes her a moment to think. She actually had to think. I lightly laugh at her. "They're actually twins." I nod. We take a seat at a bench that's placed outside. "They're names are Nathan and Noah. They're not bad I guess. Noah is a real sweetheart and Nathan is quite the opposite." Her eyes go wide as if she remembered something.
"Actually, your sisters name is Macy right?" I nod my head as she turns to face me. "I remember Noah saying he had a crush on a Macy! He said it like when she first went to school."
I put my hand over my mouth. Someone has a crush on my little sister! That's so cute! We both giggle in aw. It immediately stops when someone scoots next to me almost pushing Lauren off the bench.
I turn around and see Niall and instantly roll my eyes. "Well good to see you two." He straightens himself up and puts his arm around my shoulder. "Niall! Can you leave me alone for just an hour! I don't enjoy you being right there every time I turn around! I only need one shadow." I huff in annoyance.
"We're friends. You haven't really been talking to me and the boys lately. The boys would have try and have a conversation with you but you would ignore them."
