Chapter 5

Maddison's p.o.v.

I woke up to find 5 cute vampire snoring away. I smiled and climbed out of bed. I walked downstairs but remembered what happened yesterday, I was scared but I still walked into the kitchen. I made omelets for us to have breakfast. As fast as lightening, Niall was sitting at the table. I gave a nervous laugh and sat down as well." Umm good morning" I said. "Hey Maddi" Niall said. That's the first time he called me Maddi! I heard the omelets getting cooked. "So umm this is awkward" I said laughing. "Yes it is" Niall said also laughing. The omelets were ready and I figured I had about 5 more minutes before all the other boys came downstairs. " I need to tell you about my past" I screamed, covering my mouth.

Niall's p.o.v.

"I need to tell you about my past" Maddison screamed, covering her mouth. I didn't know what to do so I just sat there waiting. She sighed and sat down. I waited for her to begin.

"My parents abused me, at night my father would hit me and my mother would just watch, one day I met my best friend Naomi, I was scared of her but she showed me that not everyone was abusive. I left her behind in Chicago, I miss her. My parents never cared about me, they would just hit me and..."Maddison trailed off. She rolled up her pink long sleeve shirt and I saw them. She cut herself and thought of ending her life. I looked at her hands, both of them. She clutched her right hand "this is the scars my parents left" then she looked at her left hand " I made those so I wouldn't be a bother to my parents". She started to cry. " You have a reason to live, everyone does" I said. "Don't do it again". I gave her a hug and stared into her eyes which turned grey. "I love you"
