Life with kids

Maddie's pov

"Mommy! When is daddy coming home" Ali asked. I smiled and held my 2 year olds closer. "Soon, I hope" I whispered. "Now, do mommy a favor and go play with Willy, Mia, and Darcy, oh and Addie too" I said as I set them down. They ran into the "play room". Squeals and giggles filled the room instantly. "We better hurry up and make this cake!" Alberte said, as I entered the kitchen. "Yeah, they'll be here in about 2 hours, our kids really miss them. They've been gone for some time, tours suck" Hollie answered. I pulled out the cake mix, along with the milk, flour, and eggs. "Liam really needs to help me raise these babies" ally said walking into the room. She carried Emmet and kelsie. "Let's just bake already" Caroline said as she began to mix everything. We help along, carefully pouring the mix into the star shaped pot. We then carefully put it in the oven. An hour later it was ready and perfect. "I'm going to go clean up, take care of my twins!" I yelled as I quickly ran up the stairs. Only 20 minutes were left. I took the quickest shower ever, and then changed into a hoodie along with black jeans and some ankle boots. I looked outside our window and saw the car pull up, making me run at vampire speed to the living room. "Ding dong!" Emery shrieked as the bell rang. I laughed and picked him and his sister up. I opened the door and was immediately wrapped in a group hug. "Whoah chill my minions!" I answered, as we pulled away. "Hi to you too Maddie!" Lou responded. I laughed and kissed all the boys cheeks. "Mommy, where's daddy?" Emery asked. "He's still in the car" Harry answered, as he took him and Ali away. He jiggled them around. The other boys did the same. I laughed, again. "Well, go see your families, I need to see my lover boy!" I said as I hugged them all again. "You did not just say that" Lou said. "I do believe I know what came out of my mouth" I answered. Just then Willy ran through the room, followed by everyone else. They were all hugged. Bleh, I'm jelouis. Where's Niall? As If on que, Niall walked into the room with a bed head. "Sorry, but these jerks let me in the car sleeping" Niall answered, walking through the door. Harry snickered. Niall gave him a glare. "Daddy!" Emery and Ali yelled, as they ran to him. Niall's eyes turned energetic, far from sleepy, as he carried them. I smiled and walked to him. "Well, they love you!" I said as I put my lips to his. Niall set them down. "Aw, you're jelly!" He said as he kissed me about 5 times. "Am not!" I shrieked. "I know, I'm just teasing you. I missed you" he answered in a whispering manner. "I did too" I answered as I put my head to his chest. He squeezed me, until thankfully, Darcy spoke up. "Daddy, can you and uncles have a tea party with us" she said happily. "Sure baby!" Harry said as he put her in his lap. All the boys followed his example with their own children, even Liam, though he only had 6 month olds. Niall sighed and sat down. I could tell that tea party's weren't his thing. "Do the cupcake face!" Ali shrieked. All the boys did so. They were served 'tea'. "Niall, I don't see very much cupcake in you" I said, as I saw that he wasn't enjoying it. "Daddy! Are you having fun?" Darcy asked. "Yes I am love!" Harry answered smiling wider. "Are you daddy?" Ali asked. "Tons..." Niall replied. Ali turned her head to the side, she was really confused. I laughed. Niall did too, as he picked her and Emery up. "I missed you guys" he whispered into their ears. "Who wants cake!" Hollie asked, as she came back holding a few plates of our confetti and chocolate cake. "Me!" Niall yelled. I laughed since he was louder than our kids. They had picked up a few of his traits. They had his brown hair, and they loved food, and they also grew up with an Irish accent. "Look at baby Niall" I said as I sat on his lap. He groaned. "Am I that heavy?" I asked. "No, it's just um, you kinda sat there" he wheezed. I kissed him and stuffed his mouth with cake. "Is that better?" I asked. He nodded. I laughed once again.

"Time for bed, I said" Niall yelled as he put emery and Ali on his shoulders. They giggled. He took them to the bathroom and brushed their teeth. I undid our bed and climbed in. I smiled at Niall. He was the best father in the world. He was so nice and gentle with our kids. Him and our babies climbed into bed. We watched them, they fell asleep instantly. I quickly kissed their heads. "I missed you, they did too, they love you" I whispered. Niall's hand found mine. "Look how far we have come, we all have a family now, isn't it amazing?" He answered. I nodded. "It's amazing, I promise to be the best dad ever" Niall whispered. "I promise to be the best mom ever" I answered. I kissed Niall goodnight. A few minutes later, he was asleep, but I knew he heard me.

"If only we didn't have to live life hidden" I whispered.
