Chapter 32: Happy New Year's Baby...

New Year's Eve

Michael's POV

Its been about a month since I've seen Calum in person. We text, call, and Skype, hut its not the same as actually being with him. I wanted to kiss him and have him to cuddle me and hold me. I missed him tons, but we did send each other Christmas presents. I got him some new band tees while he got me something I shouldn't have opened in front of my mother... He got me a 'toy' that was actually about his size and some lube. Let's just say my mother and Ashton did not stop teasing me.

Luke also sent Ashton a gift and it was actually adorable. It was a blanket that had their names on it and lots of suggestions on what they could do on they blanket. (Such as, cuddle, kiss, relax, make love, etc.) It was really cute. Ashton got Luke a bracelet that said 'partners in crime'. Luke had one and Ashton had the other one.

Well, aside from our Christmas, we're at a New Year's party right now. It was full of tons of adults and the only teens here were me Ashton and my next door neighbor, well now Ashton's too, Christopher. He was always polite and all the adults like him, but they didn't like me or Ashton. While Christopher made conversation, Ashton and I played with the party appetizers.

"Well... My son would never act so foolish." Christopher's mother said to us rolling her eyes. "Yes, and you're son also doesn't know how to have fun." My mother stepped in. "Like my boys." She said smiling at Ashton and me fondly. "Boys?" Christopher's mom asked seeming confused. "Yes. Ashton will be staying with me from now on and I will be a mother figure, but not adopted." My mother explains petting Ashton's hair.

Ashton smiled up at her. He was so grateful that my mother took him in and I couldn't be happier to have Ashton living with us. Ashton's parents never really treated him well and only his younger siblings got whatever they wanted. Ashton didn't want everything, but whenever he needed clothes or something they would deny it to him and buy electronics for his younger siblings. My mother was the one who actually got Ashton his first phone. He thanked her a million times and would call her whenever he needed help. My mother was happy to help him too and with anything he wanted/needed.

I wrapped my arm around Ashton as Christopher's mom scoffed and walked away. Ashton and I rolled our eyes. Just then, Christopher sat next to us and began talking about how he's been busy with so many assignments that he's so happy to have a break. Ashton and I obviously agreed considering we went to the same school, which was pretty strict.

"So, Michael you're a very attractive person..." Christopher complimented. My eyes widened as I nodded with a small blush. "Thanks..." I said awkwardly. I don't like him and never have, but he never complimented me like that. Now that I think about it, he has always wanted to talk to me and stuff in school, but I was always in a rush to my next class to be the first one to get a back row seat, so I could text people.

"Well, um, Hi. I'm Ashton I don't think we've ever met." Ashton introduced himself holding his hand out for Christopher to shake. "You're quite attractive as well." Christopher smirked taking Ashton's hand and kissing it lightly. Ashton's cheeks turned red as he thanked him quietly. Why does Christopher suddenly have this power over us?

Then, my phone vibrated. I pulled it out of my back pocket to see the face time call that I've been waiting for. It was Calum and I knew he was gonna call soon considering it was pretty close to midnight. He was spending New Years with Luke since both of their parents decided to 'party'. Luke and Calum just hung out home and drank, but hopefully not too much.

I kept that though in mind as I answered the call. Him and Luke were smiling like idiots with beers and their hands. "Hey, Kitten! I miss you soooo muuucchhh!" He slurred. I chuckled at how drunk him and Luke were. "Ashton! Ashton, I miss yoouu... I miss your dick..." Luke slurred. Ashton's cheeks went a bright red color, since my phone was on speaker some of the people around us mist have heard.

"I miss you too, Lukey... Maybe you'll get a treat later when we Skype alone." Ashton winked. Luke was now the blushing one as I laughed. "I miss you too, Cal! And stop drinking!" I giggled. "Whatever you say, Kitten." He smiles putting his beer down. I smile as well so happy that he listened to me. Christopher looked between us and my phone and frowned, then got up and joined the adults once again.

Christopher is cute and all, but he's nothing compared to Calum Hood. "Babe! Its almost midnight!" Calum suddenly said from where he was babbling on about how cute puppies are with Luke and Luke arguing that penguins are cuter. I looked at Ashton's phone and saw that it was actually 11:59pm. Ashton looked at me and we began counting it down on some app he downloaded just for this.

Luke and Calum both showed their faces on the camera as we all counted down

"Happy New Year's!" Everyone in the room screamed. I smiled pulling Ashton into a hug and kissing his cheek, while Luke and Calum did the same. Luke called Ashton on face time, Calum and I could have our privacy.

"Happy New Year's, Baby... I love you so much!" Calum grinned into the camera. "Happy New Year, Cal!" I smiled blowing him a kiss. He smiled pretending to catch it. Ashton and Luke were laughing, smiling, and blushing due to the 'things' they said to one another. I giggled and talked to Calum some more just telling each other that we love each other over and over again...
