Everyone was bustling around the palace, trying to make everything perfect for the royal wedding. The maids were doing some last minute cleaning, extra help was hired in the kitchen to get the feast done in time for the ceremony, all servant boys were either taking care of the carriages the guests arrived in or tending to the whim of said guests. Certain boys were helping Seth and his father get ready, while certain servant girls were helping Amity get ready, Also readying the nearly wed couple for the night in their new room that they will share as husband and wife.

"Father, how do I look?" Seth asked, examining himself for the hundredth time in the full length mirror. He was worried he wouldn't meet Amity's expectations or that something would go horribly wrong.

The King looked at his son and smiled. "You look like a King, Seth." His father embraced him with a sad look. "I know this is never what you wanted and I am sorry about that. But, you will make a great king one day, and Amity a great queen. I am so proud of you."

Seth's heart welled up with an emotion he couldn't describe. It was one he had never really felt before. It was almost like, peace. It was an amazing feeling for him. "Thank you Papa."

The King's eyes filled with tears, Seth hadn't called him that since he was a child. The King just clasped a hand on his shoulder and nodded his head, refusing to let the tears fall.

"Oh, Mistress Walker-"

"Please Amity, call me Evelyn." Mistress Walker chided as she tied the back of Amity's dress.

"Evelyn," She corrected. "Thank so much for sending for my family. I don't know what I'd do if they weren't here today."

"It is nothing love," The old woman smiled. "Your brother got in yesterday. He wished to see you immediately, but when I told him you were getting married today to the Prince of Roswen, he nearly fainted and demanded to see you." Evelyn laughed, putting a hand over her chest. "He promised a dance with his favorite sister."

Amity smiled. "And how do mama and papa like their new home?"

"Oh Amity, it is so beautiful. Harold could not get him a title, but that hardly mattered once they saw the home they're now in. So much more room and so much safer, more farmland and Obadiah has his own shop in between two towns! He'll so much more business, it's wonderful! You and Seth will have to head up after your honeymoon to see it."

Amity blushed at the mention of the foreign word she had been hearing a lot these past few days. "Honeymoon. I still do not know what that is. No one will tell me, not even Seth. Will you Evelyn?"

The old woman looked at her in astonishment. She can't remember a time she had been so innocent. It had either been to long or she never really was. She cleared her throat and shrugged, finishing the last of the ties. "A honeymoon is time alone with your husband to...practice conceiving a child."

"And how is that done?" Amity wondered, tilting her head in the most innocent way.

Evelyn blushed. "I shouldn't say, Seth will show you. Do not worry your pretty head about that."

Amity sighed, that still did not answer her question.

Amity laughed as she twirled with Ansel, it had been so long since she's seen him. She didn't realize she missed him as much as she did.

"Ah sis, it's nice to see you again. You've gotten so beautiful!" He charmed, kissing her cheek. Ansel must have begun growing a beard, because he had stubble covering his jaw line. It was dark and very unlike him, he was always one for a clean look. But she supposed that it had something to do with his wife and several kids that he didn't have it taken care of.
