I guess my curiosity wasn't that bad because I mean yes I did want to know what happened to Mags but whatever it was It wouldn't change my opinion of her or how I felt about her.  And if anything this showed me how strong she was because here she is next to me laughing after the morning she's had.

I pull into Mags drive way and I see the instant change in her expression, she's scared.  She turns and looks up at me as Holly opens her door and gets out. "You Okay Baby?" I ask for the second time this drive. She simply nods before following Holly out of the truck.

I follow Holly and Mags up the stone path to the front door of the small house which I've come to know. Well I guess that's not really true all I've seen is the basement which is Mags room, the living and the kitchen. That's really all I've needed to see I guess. And now I'm wondering where Mags' grandfather's room is and how it fits into the layout of the house.  I'm wondering if they have a guest room or an office. In fact I'm so lost in thought that I don't notice Mags' grandfather opening the door until Mags pulls at my hand and leads me inside.  And then it starts...

"I called Dr.Patrick he should be here in a half an hour" Her grandfather states, searching her eyes for any reaction. But I can tell by the way she doesn't react that she expected nothing less. "And after I get home today I'll call the school and she what our options are and where we should have you transferred." At first I can't believe the words that have just come out of his mouth, transfer Mags? Her senior year? And then I turn to Mags to see her expression, complete and utter anger.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" Mags Yells. I've never heard her talk to her grandfather in a tone other than loving, respectful, or of course sarcastic. "Grandpa, he wasn't bulling me, he was just being an asshole because he could, I'm not twelve anymore I can go back to school tomorrow." She states harshly.

"Sweetie, I know that this hasn't escalated as far as it did back when you were in middle school but what I'm trying to do is prevent that from happening, okay sweetie?" He says trying to calm her down. She shakes her head without any words. "Mags you have to admit is was a similar situation he saw you have your...your breakdown and still he continued to call your name when he could've connected the dots and known that obviously something he was doing caused it." Her Grandfather grabs her and tries to hug her but she pull away.

"Grandpa first of all, it's not a similar situation no one at that schools no what happened and no one is spreading rumors that I'm a crazy person. Also I'm not some little girl anymore that doesn't know how defend herself if such things did happen. Second of all, not that I'm defending Cole but the flashback," Mags starts and Holly and Mags' grandfather gasp, I'm guessing that's the word they were avoiding. " Wasn't as bad as they use to be he probably just thought that I just tripped and was crying on my knees for a second. And lastly I don't think that many people say it, first period had already started by the time I was crying and most people were in class." Mags holds eye contact with her grandfather the entire time she speaks to him. It's almost like she's trying to prove how much she's grown and how she's different now from her past.

"We'll talk about this later." He grandfather replies, reaching for his coat. " I still have to go to work today. Anyway I told Dr.Patrick to call me as soon as he was down talking to you to let me know what his evaluation was, okay?" Her grandfather says searching for a response, when he didn't get one her continued, "Are you both staying?" He asks turning and for the first time acknowledging that Holly and I are actually here.

I nod while Holly replies, " I actually Have this huge physics test next period so if Jared's staying then I'm going to go take it but i'll come right back afterwards, okay?" Holly asks Mags with a very sad expression.  Mags nods with a sad smile.

"Here you can take my truck back to school." I say handing Holly the keys. She's reluctant to take them, revealing that she really doesn't want to leave. However she eventually gives in and takes the keys giving me a knowing look.

"Alright Mags I promise I'll be back right after second period, okay?" Holly replies before she heads out the door. A couple of seconds later I hear my truck start and pull out of the drive way. I'm really praying that she doesn't hurt my truck because the anger might over take me and then I might kill her.

"Mags how about you go lay down okay? I'm gonna head to work right after  I have a moment with Jared." Mags Grandfather says. Mags nods and rolls her eyes before heading down to her room with out having said another word. "Now Jared, I'm gonna be honest, for the life of me I don't understand how you've stuck around, I didn't think you'd even get her to go on that first date with you." He sighs. "Now how long has it been?"

"About a month and a half, sir" I reply. Actually it'll be two next thursday.

"Wow" He sighs again. "I haven't really been around you so I don't know if I can trust you or not. However I do trust my Granddaughter and obviously she trusts you because well here you are learning all her secrets. So here I am trusting you to take care of her today okay?" He says he almost looks as if he's about to cry. "Which is a big deal if you betray her with any of this information I will kill you, got it?" He says so serious that I one hundred percent believe him. I nod. "In that case here's her medication Dr.Patrick said she needs to take one before he gets here, and Jared make sure you don't give into her when she says she doesn't want to see Dr.Patrick because it is important, Okay?" He asks sternly again.

"Of course sir, I'm thankful for all the trust that you're giving me" I say. He nods handing me the pill bottle before wordlessly heading out the door.

I head to the kitchen to get Mags a glass of water before I find myself going down the stairs to her bedroom where she's lying on her bed in her very short short and a grey tank top. "I see you didn't waste much time getting comfy" I joke seeing her turn her head towards me. "Here your grandfather very sternly instructed me that you need to take this." I say handing her the pill and the glass of water.

She takes the pill and a sip of water before setting the glass on her night stand. Then she looks at me with way more sorrow in her eyes than I prefer. "I'm so sorry, Jared." She says sadly. I swear I see a single tear slip from her eyes but if it was there she wiped it away quickly.

"Baby, what on earth do you have to be sorry for?" I ask as I climb onto her bed and sit next to her.

She Immediately crawls into my lap and sits between my legs. I lobe that about her, how she's never afraid to make the first move, how she'll tell me she wants me to cuddle her or that she wants me to hold her. "For all of it, that I put you in this situation where you have a mentally unstable girlfriend who has a therapist on call that make house visits." She whispers.

"Baby do you remember the first day we spent together, the day you met my family?" I ask running my hands through her hair. Her only response is a nod, which honestly I've had enough of today, but I let it go because I know what she's been through. "You got to see my crazy background that day, my crazy sister in law was a complete bitch to you. And baby you're still with me even after that and heck that was even before our first date" I smile and look down to see her smiling too.

"So I didn't scare you off yet?" She asks raising an eyebrow which honestly makes me really want to kiss her because she's being silly cute right now.

I shake my head "You'll need to try a lot harder if you want to scare me off." I respond leaning down to kiss her. before my lips meet her she whispers "Darn".
