I could hear her laughing, immediately making me smile. I turned the corner to see Mags leaning against my truck talking to Kyler. Laughing with Kyler. I swallowed my jealousy as I continued to walk towards them. "Hey baby." I said grabbing Mags and kissing her, when I stopped she gave me a questioning look.

"Sup Kyler?" I asked throwing my stuff in the back.

"Just getting to know your girl here" He said smiling. "She's a feisty one" He said laughing. "I didn't even get to say a whole sentence to her before she full on attacked me." He said.

"Mags what'd I tell you about attacking people, whats our lacrosse team suppose to do without its goalie?" I said smiling now too.

"Oh he's just upset because I made fun of his name." She said laughing.

Right then, I saw Jason walking up to us out of the corner of my eye. He seemed to be almost running, maybe Mags had left something in the stadium? "Mags, I'm so sorry." He said ignoring Kyler's and I's presence. "Can we please just talk" He begged and pleaded.

"Oh so you're the reason, she was crying earlier." Kyler said sternly. "I'm gonna need you to give me a reason why I shouldn't just beat the shit out of you right now." Kyler said stepping closer to Jason.

"It's fine kyler." She said stepping in front of him. "Jason, clearly you didn't understand that me ignoring your calls, means that I don't want to talk to you right now. And you trying to force me into a conversation isn't going to help that." Mags said stepping back into my arms.

"Mags just hear me out please." He begged.

Mags with tears streaming down her face, opened the door to my truck hoped in and slammed it shut. "Later Kyler." I mumbled before walking over to the drivers side and getting in. Mags immediately scooted over and leaned against, I automatically wrapped my arm round her. "You Okay baby?" I ask

"You played a great game." she said ignoring my question. Soon after she fell asleep, leaving me alone with my thoughts. I wasn't thinking about the great game I just played, I was thinking about the reason Mags was crying. I was thinking about what Jason could've done, and if I was going to have to beat the shit out of him. I liked Jason just fine, but he wasn't a friend and I wasn't above kicking is ass. When I reached Mags house I texted Holly.

J-What's up with Mags

Then I got out and carried Mags inside. Her grandfather was asleep in the living room, but woke up when I opened the door. "How'd you do tonight" He asked before getting up.

"Pretty good. I'm just going to put her in bed and then I'll go" I said turning to head downstairs.

"Make sure she doesn't go to sleep in jeans or she'll be crabby in the morning" He said before heading to his bedroom.

How was I suppose to do that? I'm pretty sure if I woke she'd claw my eyes out.

"Mags, Baby" I said nudging her a little as I carried her down the stairs. She rustled in my arms.

"What, I just want to sleep." She said cuddling closer to me.
