I know I was supposed to work on the chapters as soon as I got my laptop but I actually went on Tumblr first :3 I'm sorry !

Alice and The Doctor made their way to the main room of the underground building, thanks to the Doctor's intelligence and his sonic screwdriver. Alice was forced to take out other Saquars by hitting them as hard as she could. Surprisingly, the Saquars reacted like humans, going unconscious instead of smashing like a bug, which was what Alice thought would happen.

As they walked into the large circular room they noticed that it was empty. Not one alien was in sight. The Doctor walks around, squinting, trying to piece everything together. Suddenly, the Doctor stops dead in his tracks and his eyes widen. Alice notices and stops too.

"Doctor..." Alice whispers. She saw a look his eyes she somehow knew. It meant trouble.

"Alice." The Doctor whispers back. After a few seconds Alice somehow pieced it together. Perception filters.

Suddenly, everything went black for Alice.

Alice jolted awake and she found herself sitting on the familiar metal ground of the T.A.R.D.I.S. Alice laughed. She heard foot steps and saw the Doctor walk into the room. He had a grim look on his face.

"Wha-What happened?" Alice asked, trying to remember, even though she knew she wouldn't, her being knocked out and all. The Doctor kept his back to Alice, his hands on the console and his back hunched. He didn't want to tell Alice what he had done.

"Is something wrong?" Alice asks, standing up and resting a hand on the Doctor's shoulder.

"I had to end another race today." The Doctor said in a dark tone, which gave Alice the shivers.

"What do you mean?" Alice asked, not grasping what he was saying.

"The Saquars were planning to take over the planet and I had to stop them before doing so. To stop them I had to end their race but there were not many of Saquars because so many had been lost in their planets war and they were taking over the planet to renew their race." The Doctor rambles.

"It's okay. I understand." Alice replied after minutes of silence.

"What?" The Doctor was obivously not expecting that answer.

"I understand. You had to do what you had to do. No one can blame for that." Alice told the Doctor, spreading her arms out for a hug. The Doctor wrapped his arms around Alice and choked away tears. Ending the race brought back memories he didn't want back. The sounds of the children screaming, the sight of the entire race collasping was just too much for the Doctor. He's lost so much while everyone just went on with their lives and he was sick of it. But at that moment, in Alice's presence, everything felt like everything was going to be just fine.

Sorry it's so short! I jus wanted to get a chapter out today! I finally got a laptop and I had to work hard for it. If anyone was wondering I got a Acer Chrome Book but I don't think anyone cares.

I will really try to get a chapter out tomorrow but there is a fair in town and I was planning to go tomorrow but I'm not going until dark so I'll have just enough time.

And I  know this chapter's ending is cheesy and they barely know each other but whatever :P
