I felt echo flowers whipping my face, repeating the sound of rough petals against hard metal over and over again, along with the sharp sound of my sobs and footfalls against the moist ground. I still heard the others following me, if only they could just go away. My right arm felt strange, heavier, and it scared me. I didn't want to stop running from them, even though I heard Mettaton yell out for me to stop and that he could tell me what he meant. I knew what he meant. He was going to power me down and take me back to Alphys for me to be replaced by a happier robot, one that actually knew what was happening. I skidded to a stop, my feet felt heavy. I heard a robotic sigh of relief and I whirled around, my eyes stinging from the artificial tears that flowed down my face. "Neo, buddy, everything's okay." Undyne said, racing up behind Mettaton. He must have told her everything. Including things I didn't know. My right arm started to feel electrified, filled with power, the ability to destroy. To eliminate. As much as I hated it, I loved it. "Nothing is okay!" I spat, rage fueling me to take a step backward. The trio (Papyrus had tripped into view only seconds before) took a step toward me each time I stepped back. "Leave me alone! Sans!" I wailed, my tears flowing harder. He seemed like the only person who I could trust. Mettaton smiled softly, it seemed too practiced, too used, too fake. "Darling, it's okay. You don't need Sans. You have me." He said, holding out his arms. "Everything will-" I cut him off when I raised my arm, the electricity feeling fully charged, ready to fire. "Everything will be alright, won't it?" I mocked, a wicked grin sliding across my face. Just as it came, it left. I frowned, staring at the arm I was holding up. It wasn't an arm, I thought, but a blaster. A pink and blue ball of energy was forming at the tip, making the room glow with light. My wings were outstretched menacingly, and when I looked down at the water I was standing in, my crosshairs were glowing bloodred. I dropped my arm, and looked back up at my friends and brother. They had backed up multiple steps, and Mettaton had Papyrus and Undyne behind him. All had weapons at the ready. I backed up, swiveled, and started to run, hating the beautiful feeling my attack form gave me.
---------------
I burst out from the new underground entrance and onto the surface, squinting at the light. I slowed my pace to a walk, trying to look normal with all of the humans looking at me. I let my wings fold and I put my right arm (which had returned back to normal) behind my back. I glanced around, looking for a familiar house. I saw it, just down the street. Before I could ask myself what the hell my idea was, my feet were pulling the rest of my body towards the house.
I walked through a tiny park, watching a group of kids playing in the grass, and a couple looked up at me uncertainly, and I knew I probably looked wild, my hair glowing blue from the echo flowers I had tore through, dirt, water and grass stains blotching my normally slick and shiny metal. I looked down at my feet and continued through the park, faster paced. I looked up at a crosswalk, walked through it, and arrived at the house. I knocked repeatedly on the door, my metal cold from the grey skies. After a minute, I heard a lazy voice that made me feel warm again. "Mmm, hold on. Let me get off the couch. A lock clicked, and the door opened to a short skeleton that had to look up to see my face. "Neo... You look-"
"Terrible? Horrible? Stressed? Yeah; I guess that covers it." I detected heavy sarcasm in my voice, and ignored it. "No. I was going to say bone-tired, but you ruined it." He said, his smiled not faltering. "Yeah. Watts up." He continued his string of puns, opening the door fully so I can step inside. "Running away." I said, collapsing on the couch and hearing the beep beep of a reminder that I needed to charge. I ignored that as well and gave all of my attention to Sans. "Might as well tell me what happened." He said, sitting down on the other side of the couch and staring at me. I looked away, his gaze feeling... Intimidating. I sighed and started the story of my day.
-----------
"I see. Yeah, that seems like a suckish day. It just echoes terrible." He said, plucking a petal of an echo flower out of my hair. I tried to focus, but I couldn't. The beep beep of the reminder was louder, and I guessed Sans heard it. He went up to his room, and before I could ask, I powered off and I was stranded in the strange blackness.[admin sil note: I'm writing this at 1 am please do not say anything. Please. I am begging you.

Skeletons and Robots (Discontinued due to lack of time)
FanfictionThis is an AU called the Brothers AU where Neo is a completely different being from Mettaton. They share a soul, but Neo got I guess what you'd call the "bad part". Don't forget to comment and vote if you like it! This is a collab with @kindlethebre...
