All days passing in the next few months were almost a blur of motion to my eyes, most days consisting on watching Alphys working on Nami or watching over Sans. Then came the call.
"Neo! I finished Nami! Would you like to see her?" Alphys squealed through the phone. "Woah there, fangirl. Tone it down a notch. Were you like this when I was created?" I said, my neck propped up against the cot Sans was lying on. "How about this? Since Sans seems to be recovering and you did say that he had to be watched over a lot, how about we switch? I'll go to Nami, and you stay with Sans."
"Deal. Be there in a few." Alphys said, hanging up. I smiled, putting my now silent phone in my chest compartment. Today was looking great.
-------------------------
I knocked on the door, not at all used to having to walk in and actually talk to a robot woman. "It's unlocked," A familiar voice spat, "not like I'm naked or something. Like that's possible." I heard sharp laughter, and I grinned. "Hello, Nami." I said, pushing open the door and strutting in. The second the new robot looked at me, her face blushed and she tried as hard as she could not to look at me. "I... Never had gotten to see what you actually looked like." She stammered, looking back at me and sliding her eyes up and down to get a glance at my entire body. "Yeah, the entire time you were my phone you didn't know you got this guy to snap at." I said, snickering. "That's not what I meant, Neo." She growled. I laughed. "But still. I haven't gotten to see you." I said, holding my hand up. "Get up, pretty girl." She frowned, but she hopped off of the bed she was sitting on and stumbled. I stood still, fighting the urge to help her. "It's okay, I was like that too." I said. She frowned more and stood to her full height, if not a little on her tiptoes. She didn't come close to my height, as I guessed she was built to be a small robot. One hand appeared to be tipped with a large circular magnet, and the other was gloved, same as Mettaton and myself. Other than that, she was the complete opposite of me. She had curves, and huge boots that broadened at the top, which were colored baby blue. She was wearing a baby blue dress that showed too much stomach, and she had a puff of hair sweeping over her face. I wondered if it was unfinished, like Mettaton. She was colored like Mettaton, with silver colored steel on her bare arms and face, along with her neck and legs. "Hm. When Undyne said "anime", I didn't think she'd do this." I said, snickering and gesturing to her crisscrossed dress. I saw her hand ball into a fist, and she punched me- hard- in the face. "Hey!" I said, although it didn't hurt. It felt like a slightly hard caress. "Don't." She said, walking (more like stumbled) back to her bed, and plopped down on it. I decided not to tell her that I was impressed by Alphys' work on curves. "I could take you to meet everyone." I said, rubbing where she pet my face at 18 miles per hour. "I don't know how to walk yet. Never thought I'd get to say that. Like, three months ago I was your phone, and then everything was dark, and now I'm... Something like a person." I saw a small blush creep up her cheek. "I don't even know how I came into existence without destroying my brother. So that's one thing in common." I tapped the case that held my now 75% whole soul. "I don't have a soul. Now teach me to walk, dammit." She said, holding up her hand. I took it and almost threw her off the bed. "You're light."
"Or you're insanely tough."
"Thank you, I work out."
"No you don't."
"Damn you for ruining my dreams." I giggled. "Stop it!" She said. "Okay, okay. Now take a step forward," I placed my foot a few inches out in front of me, "like this."
------------------
"Thanks." Nami said as I finished the whole running/walking/etc class. "Class over. You can go home now." I said, gesturing to the door. "But I've never left before." She rubbed her arm in embarrassment. "Wow. You're a lot different from me when I first powered on. I just waltzed out." She shoved me, and I took a single step backwards. "Oh no. The evil twin of Siri, the malicious Nami, strikes again." I said with a monotone, my grin not failing. "I hate you."
"You didn't when you were a phone."
"Because you just asked me to do stuff!"
"Yeah. Siri's evil twin. We must go." I walked through the door, yanking Siri's evil twin with me.
----------------------
"So they're all with Sans?"
"Most likely. Alphys said Toriel, Frisk, and Flowey would probably leave soon. Frisk is tired." I didn't smile at the mention of Frisk. Every time I thought of her a shiver went up my spine. I pushed open the door to Sans' room. Everyone looked up, their faces brightening a little as I walked in. "Presenting... Nami!" I said, moving out of the way to show off the petite robot. "Apologies for not coming sooner," Nami said, shooting a glare at me. "Neo here was just being annoying." Her smile returned, and she hopped over to greet Undyne and Papyrus. "Annoying in what way?" Mettaton asked, sliding his glance over to me, a smirk starting to form. I snorted. "Not at all like you and Papyrus are annoying." I said, breaking into laughter. Mettaton arched an eyebrow, and glanced at Papyrus, who was bright red. The room filled with laughter, a symphony of cries. Giddy with giggles, I spotted Nami's stature figure leaning against the wall through the corner of my eye. She was quivering, her fingers trembling daintily. I bit my lip. I was such a jerk to her, pushing her straight into reality moments after her awakening. A overwhelming feeling swelled in my stomach, the feeling...I had felt it before. I caved in at my chest when memories of the beginning flooded in. My awakening, my first glimpse at Sans, how soon I had been thrown into the drama, and how bitterly simple life had been. I grimaced, picking myself up just enough to see Nami. Like me, she had been made for a purpose. Mine being to be a brother and nightmare keeper, hers being to ease my pain. To take my mind off of someone more important. She was a toy, a mere distraction. I turned away from her, ducking underneath Undyne's flailing spear point. Nami was like I was, but I was not going to screw this up like they had with me.
"Nami, how about a tour of our house?"
