Awkward

Part 12

Just when Alison got rid of the threat of Paige McCullers and Emily, she walked into the Hastings backyard and spotted Spencer kissing Ian. Alison was devastated by this. 

Ian was standing behind Spencer helping her with her form. His hands were on her hips.

Ian: Uh, no. Here. Let me show you.

Spencer: Okay, like this. Okay? Right there.

Ian: Mm-hm. (He kisses Spencer on her neck) Did you like that?

(She spins around in his arms) Maybe. (They kiss passionately unaware that Alison is there watching.)

Ian: Well, see you on the field, okay?

Spencer: Okay 

Alison: Okay, gross. 

Spencer: What did you see?

Alison: Enough to make me wanna puke.

He's your sister's boyfriend and he's, like, old.

Spencer: Well, it was nothing. Just forget it, okay?

Alison: It looked like you were into it.

Spencer: Well, I wasn't.

Alison: I hope not. Because if you were, that would make you a skank.

Alison walked away from Spencer fuming. She went to find Ian. She told him to meet her in the woods by Wright's playground.

Ian met up with Alison. 

Ian: Hey what's so urgent that we had to meet here?

Alison: I thought we had something. Then I saw you kissing Spencer. How could you? 

Ian: Look you know I'm seeing Melissa. I'm not with either one of you. So we made out a few times. Big deal. You need to grow up.

Alison: You need to grow up! Your going to pay for this Ian!

Ian realizing he was in a bad spot decided smooth things over. 

Ian: Okay Alison. I'm sorry I hurt your feelings. I won't ever kiss Spencer again. I would be with you but I'm in college and well your in highschool still. We can be together it just has to be our secret. Look I'll show you that you mean alot to me.

He took a knife out of his pocket and carved "Alison loves Ian" into the trunk of a tree.

This made Alison smile. She really did like Ian. They began to make out and she thought about going all the way with him but she was scared and he was still with Melissa.

Alison: I'd better get home. 

Ian: Yeah its going to be dark soon. See ya later.

Alison: Yeah I'll text you.

Alison slowly started to walk home when she passed by Emily's house and found a black girl with curly hair sitting on Emily's porch with her.

Alison stopped and just stared.

Emily: Hi Alison. This is Maya St. Germaine. She just moved here.

Alison: Hi Maya. How long have you known Em?

Maya: Hi. We just a met a few days ago. Her mother invited me to stay a few nights while my parents are out of town.

Alison: oh cool. That sounds like fun. I'm sure Emily will enjoy having you. (She smirked at the innuendo).

Maya: I'm sure the pleasure will be all mine. (Maya replied with her own smirk and innuendo in response.)

Emily: I haven't seen you around in awhile. You been okay?

Alison: Yeah just been busy with friends. I've been hanging out with a more mature crowd. I'll see you in class tomorrow.

Emily: Sure.

Maya: Nice meeting you.

Alison: Likewise.

And she resumed walking home. So Maya was staying with Emily at her house and in her bed. That didn't sit well with Alison but she reminded herself she still had Ian.
