I went to New York for some film work and then to Orlando for a meet and greet at Universal Studios. I had gone the the east coast very little, but I remembered how much I enjoyed it.
I remember my last few days filming in Orlando, when I was about to come home after five-six months, Michael called. " Hello?"
" Jeni--Its Michael! Oh my God...you wont believe this..."
" What?" i said, concerned. " We finished Neverland! The whole place is made! Its so beautiful......"
" Oh, thats good! I'll be back in California in a few days. What's it look like?"
He laughed, " I'm not gonna tell ya.....You're just gonna have to wait and see."
I rolled my eyes, " Fair enough."
" I'm sending someone to pick you up from the airport so that you can meet me in paradise."
" Paradise? Wait Michael, what do you mean?"
" I'm afraid I've said too much." He laughed, " See you Friday--I Love you!"
" Love you too..." I set the phone on the reciever. This is almost as suspicious as the "Artist of the Year Proposal". "Paradise......Paradise......" I would say to myself, " This should be intriguing."
At around three o'clock, I arrived back to California after a six hour plane flight. I sign that said, "Jennifer Jackson," drew my attention. It was the car taking me to Neverland.
When I got in the car, I was extremely curious and prying to know about "Neverland".
" What do you know about Neverland?" I asked the man who was driving me.
" Sorry, Jennifer. I'm sworn to secrecy by Michael."
I growled under my breath. This must be a HUGE deal.
" Close your eyes!" The man hollered to me as we came to a stop. I shut them as he opened the door. " Is she here?" I heard Michael's voice say.
I heard footsteps that got louder and louder. Then warm hands covered my eyes.
" I cant see....and I dont know where I'm going...." I complained, as I was very anxious. Then all of a sudden I stopped. Michael took his hands off me eyes.
I opened my eyes. my jaw dropped as I felt as if I was the smallest person in the world. I saw the greenest trees, the vibrant flowers, the statues and I could hear classical music playing. I could not believe what I was seeing.
" Do you like it?" Michael asked as he hugged me from behind.
I was speechless as I just stared at my surroundings.
" Hey!" He called one of the employees working at neverland, " Will you please take this luggage to the main house?"
" Of course!" The woman smiled, as she took my bags.
" Michael I can do it!" I said.
" Oh, no no!" He said, taking my hand off of my bag, " There's PLENTY to show you!" " Well okay." He took me over to one of the golf carts and slapped his hand down on the seat looking at me. I hopped in.
" You're a wreckless driver...."
" Oh really?" he swerved the car side to side. " Suave. REAL Suave."
He giggled, driving me all around the outside of neverland. I could see the gardens, the teepee village, dining area, basketball court, carosel, carnival alley, the zoo--everything. I cried because of the beauty and diligence put into the whole place; I was going to live here.
