Nano woke in a moderately furnished room, in a bed not unlike the one she'd gotten from Lalna at the home base. She sat up quietly, taking in her surroundings. Her hairpieces had been taken off her hair (something she normally only allowed Lalna to do); they sat on the makeup desk to her right, along with her angel ring. The desk in question sat beside a full-body mirror & wardrobe, as well as having the expected wall-mounted mirror above it. Some bookshelves sat across the room, though they were sparsely populated. Nano didn't see a door, but she guessed this was deliberate. She shifted out of bed, hopping down onto the plush purple rug.

As she touched the floor, the wardrobe flew open, displaying her normal outfit, something along the lines of workout clothes, and then an elegant violet gown wrapped up with a note. Upon closer inspection, the note simply read "Coronation Day"

"Coronation? I'm no princess"

As Nano dressed, throwing her nightgown into the wardrobe, she heard a voice, seemingly in her head

Not a princess? Of course you are. Even I can't rule forever.

Nano jumped. Hesitating, she spoke. "Mother?"

Hello dear. Sorry for the rough meeting, but it was necessary.

Nano clenched her fists, remembering the attack. "Necessary? You nearly killed Lalna!"

He would have kept you from your destiny.

"I don't care about any destiny, Lalna's my best friend!"

I don't understand what you see in that human. You were always meant for more. Why do you think I brought you back to the very place that set these events in motion?

"You mean-"

Despite your best efforts to destroy it, yes. You are back at his castle.

"Why bring me here though? What do I have to do with this?"

You will see in time, dear. For now, let us exercise your powers.

Nano's features knit into a look of confusion as she looked down at her hands "Powers?"

Yes, powers. You were born with a great gift, child. I simply helped hone it to a useful form for you.

Nano looked up at the wall "What kinds of powers?"

You will only know when you try.

Nano took a step forward and thrusted her hands, palms out, to the wall. When nothing happened, she stepped back and crossed her arms, a look of indignation crossing her face. "Powers. Totally." She remarked, sarcasm dripping from every syllable

As such, when a tainticle grew out of the ground and smashed a hole in the wall, Nano was taken aback. "Wait, did I just do that?"

Why do you think you've always been drawn to earthen magic, dear? It's your destiny.

Nano looked down at her hands, a plan starting to take shape. "Alright, you have my attention. What now?"

Nano could imagine the grin on Mother's face. Out to the courtyard. Its time for some rebuilding. After all, every queen deserves her own palace, doesn't she?
