Walking home was always a drag, due to the rain here. Washington rain was the best though, besides getting all my homework soaked. The best part though, was watching you, your hair starting  to attach delicate rain drops as your eyes turn into this glossy blue color because of the gray clouds. As cheesy as it sounds, I always thought you glowed. You had that really tan skin that made everybody look twice at you.

I remember that one day when I was walking home and you were standing against that alley wall with your skateboard and a freezing cold slushy. It started to hail and I didn't have my umbrella. I don't know why, but you approached me with that smile of yours, dimples forming on your cheeks. You creeped your hands to my shoulders, not speaking as you took off my backpack, dropping it to the soaked floor. I stared into your eyes as you stared back at mine, a smirk printed on your face as you took off your bandana jacket, quickly putting it on me. I looked at you, confused as to why you were giving me your jacket.

Once the jacket was on me, you smiled, whispering, "Keep it", as you rested the jacket hood on my head and walked away.
