Skylar walked to a sink pretending not to see them. "Girl I don't believe it." Lo whispered smirking. Cece glared at Skylar shaking her head and grabbing her purse. Lo did the same. They both walked towards the door. Chloe just stood there glaring at Skylar. Skylar washed her face with some water then turned the fosset off and glared at herself in the mirror. "Chloe let's go." Cece said. Chloe ignored them and continued staring at Skylar. "Skylar!" Chloe said loudly. Skylar looked over then back at her reflection. "She don't want to talk let's go." Lo said. "I don't believe that, I think that's exactly what she wants." Chloe said. Lo and Cece gave a look of confusion. "She needs that actually, holding stuff in can't help you Skylar." Chloe said walking towards Skylar. Skylar looked down still ignoring Chloe. "Skylar I want to be your friend and help, give me the words and I'll leave you alone." Chloe said now standing next to Skylar. Skylar remained silent. "Told you." Lo said. Chloe waited and then began to walk towards her purse. 

"Wait." Skylar yelled out. Chloe turned around. Skylar sighed. "At first I thought you were only coo with me because I was getting a little known, but when you came to the hospital I knew you were here for me but I was afraid." Skykar said. "Afraid of what ?" Cece asked sitting her purse down and crossing  her arms. "Afraid of change, new people, being used." Skylar said looking down. They all stood in silence. "I just thought I should say I'm sorry." Skylar said in a soft voice. Chloe slowly walked up to Skylar and hugged her tight. Skylar cried in Chloe's arms. Cece glared but soon joined the hug. Soon after so did Lo.

"So what's going on?" Cece asked as they sat at the lunch table. "I just decided to move into the center nothing special." Skylar said. "What about your grandma?" Lo asked. "She woke up but we got back into it." Skylar said. "Bitch over what now?" Lo asked. Skylar looked up not knowing what to say. "Skylar can I talk to you real quick." A voice said causing everyone to look up but Skylar. "You can't talk to me about shit." Skylar said. Morion sat down next to Skylar. "I just need five minutes." He whispered. "She don't want to talk to you obviously." Cece said. "Obviously you need to mind yo damn business." Morion said. "Aye Skylar get yo nigga." Cece said taking her earrings off. 

"Come on." Skylar said walking off. Morion quickly rushed after her. She stood in the hall with her arms crossed. He tried to hug her. Skylar pushed him away. He sighed as he put his hands in his pockets. "So what's the problem?" Morion asked. Skylar looked at him sideways then started walking back into the cafeteria. Morion grabbed Skylar by her wrist causing her to turn around. "Talk to me." Morion said. "Nigga we ain't shit to talk about, you know what you did was foul and you wanna play dum!" Skylar yelled. "I'm sorry I wasn't trynnna hurt you." Morion said. "But you did so fuck yo apology." Skylar said trying to get out of his hold. "Skylar please forgive me, I can't loose you." He begged. "Maybe keep yo dick and yo pants and we wouldn't have to go through this." Skylar said with a tear rolling down her cheek. She quickly wiped it away. 

Morion got down on his knees and held on to her legs. "Please Skylar, you all I want, I don't have nobody for real but you, don't leave me." Morion said with a tear rolling down his cheek now. Skylar heard a sniffle and was so surprised that Morion cried for her. Skylar just stood there thinking things over. "Okay Get up." Skylar said sounding annoyed. Morion stood up. "I dont know if I forgive you, but I love you and I just can't leave you." Skylar said wiping his tear. He brung close to his body and just held her as they stood in silence. "What have I gotten myself into?" Skylar thought.

Skylar, Chloe, Lo, and Cece sat in Science catching up and talking. When the principal called Skylar on the intercom. "What the fuck they want?" Skylar mumbled to herself as she walked towards the door. "Maybe they found Skylar's pills in her bookbag." Abreya said outloud causing her and her groupies to laugh but nobody else. Skylar began walking towards Abreya. "Go to the office Ms. Williams." The teacher said with a sigh. Skylar glared at Abreya then walked to the office. As soon Skylar walked in her principal stood there holding a phone and a sad face. Skylar was about to speak when she held the phone out to her. Skylar grabbed it with a worried and confused face.

Phone convo:

"Skylar: "Hello." 

Skylar's uncle:"Your grandma is getting pretty bad Im on my way to come and get you."

Skylar: "What do you mean?"

Skylar's uncle:"I don't have time to explain just be ready. 

Skylar's Uncle quickly hung up the phone. Skylar gave the phone back to the principal and rushed out of the office to her locker. She went outside and waited for him to pull up. He soon did and she got in. He sped off not answering any of her questions the whole ride. As soon as they pulled up and parked Skylar hopped out and stormed inside the hospital causing her uncle to chase after her. "Are you here to see somebody?" The woman asked at the front desk. Skylar walked past the lady ignoring her. "Excuse me mam." The lady said. "Sorry ms she's with me Ill sign us in." Skylar heard her uncle say. She behmgan walking faster afraid of what she would see in her grandmother's room. Skylar burst into her grandmother's room causing grandmother to wake up. "Grandma?" Skylar said rushing to her Grandmother's side. "Yeah Skylar?" Her grandmother replied. "My uncle he said you weren't okay." Skylar said. "I aint-" Her grandmother trailed off beginning to cough. "Im not okay and heaven can't wait much longer but I needed to see you first." Her grandmother said. "Don't say stuff like that, I can't loose you, you all I got." Skylar said. 

"Oh hush with all that Chile, you got Alphonzo, and those girls, gifts from god." Her grandmother said beginning to cough again. "But I don't want you to go." Skylar said. Her grandmother was about to speak but she began coughing hard and couldn't stop herself. Skylar's uncle bust in the room and saw what was going on. He called Dr. Nash into the room. "Are you alright Ms. Williams?" Dr. Nash asked rushing to her side. She just kept coughing. "Grandma?" Skylar said getting worried. The machine next to her hospital bed made a beeping noise and the line on it went flat. "No, No, that machine is wrong No!" Skylar screamed with tears flying from her eyes. "Grandma get up please, I'm sorry for everything!" Skylar screamed. Dr. Nash stood there looking down. "Do something help her, do something!" Skylar screamed. Her uncle grabbed her trying to pull her away from her now deceased grandmother. Skylar wouldn't let go at first but eventually she did. She sobbed in her Uncle's arms as they stood in the hallway.
