"Skylar whats going on?" Skylar 's grandma asked getting inpatient. "I don't know how to say this but I might be pregnant." Skylar said still looking at the ground. "You might be what you better be playing." Her grandma replied. "I wish I was." Skylar said. "If I had never got this sick this wouldve have never-" Skylar cutvher grandma off. "This would've never what, you always have something negative to say if I'm pregnant then there is nothing we can do about it." Skylar said getting angry. "An abortion is always an option." Her grandmother said. "An abort- I can't believe you just said that." Skylar said with a red face. "Well I did you got a whole life ahead of you, to young for a baby." Her grandmother said shaking her head. "You always shaking your head and judging, did I judge you for getting yourself in this mess you in." Skylar said. "You dont-

Skylar cut her grandmother off. "No let me finish, this is why we weren't talking because you always judge me!" Skylar yelled standing up. Dr.Nash and Nurse Sarah burst into the room. "Is everything alright in here?" Dr.Nash asked. "Yeah everything's fine." Skylar said glaring at her grandmother. "Alright can I have a moment with your grandmother?" Dr.Nash asked. Skylar stood then walked to nurse Sarah but not without taking one last look at her grandma. "I'm going to take you to a private room so you can take the test okay." Nurse Sarah said with a smile. Skylar nodded and followed the nurse to room 309. Nurse Sarah pulled out a pregnancy test as soon as they got to inside the room. Skylar went in the bathroom and hesitated to take it. She just kept staring at it wanting to cry. She wasn't ready for a baby.

She just stared at it until she heard a knock at the door. "You alright in there?" Nurse Sarah asked. "Yeah." Skylar said. "Okay take your time I've got somewhere to be but Dr.Lane will be with you soon. Skylar didn't respond. She soon heard the door close and she sighed in relief. "Okay you can do this." Skylar said to herself. She sighed then began peeing on the pregnancy test. A couple of minutes later she knew her results were probably ready. She picked up the test and her eyes widened. Skylar Williams was absolutely pregnant. Skylar wanted to cry but she stayed strong. A couple of seconds later Dr.Nash walked in to an upset Skylar sitting on a hospital bed. "Hello Ms.Williams." He said in a happy tone. Skylar didn't say a word, she was to upset. "Did you take the test?" He asked. "Yeah." Skylar said with red and sad eyes.

"What were the results?" Dr.Lane asked. "Positive." Skylar said. "Okay good are you happy with the results.?" Dr.Lane said. "No I'm can't have a baby I'm only seventeen, I just can't." Skylar said beginning to sob. "Would you consider an abortion?" Dr.Lane asked. "No never would I kill a child." Skylar said wiping her face. "Do you at least know who the father is?" Dr.Lane asked. "Yeah." Skylar replied. "Is it the young man that's been visiting you?" Dr.Lane asked. Skylar shook her head no. Dr.Lane started to put two and two together. "Well we will need to schedule an appointment and good news is your getting released today." Dr.Lane said. "Are you going to consider our Center invitation?" Skylar gave a blank stare. "I'm going." Skylar said. "Good." Dr.Lane said. "If you want I'll give you some time to yourself." Dr. Lane said.  Skylar nodded. Dr.Lane left her in the room to gather herself.

She stayed in that room for a long time thinking about how she would tell Alphonzo. Then it came to her. "I can't tell him." She thought. After she got herself together she went straight to her hospital room. All she could think was what would Morion do when he found out. "Skylar?" Someone said snapping Skylar out of her thoughts. Skylar knew exactly who it was. "I was going to see my grandma to see if she was okay and she's woke." Skylar said. "I know I went in there looking for you." "Oh." Skylar said. "They said I could go home today." Skylar said looking at the ground. "that's good... right?" Morion asked noticing Skylar's disappointed look on her face. "Yeah but Morion I want to go to the Center." Skylar said looking up. "Baby I thought you were gonna come home with me ?" Morion asked. I did but now I realize that it would be good for me to get away and make sure Im okay." Skylar said with a soft voice. "Baby but I was looking forward to you coming to home with me." Morion said holding Skylar by the waist. Skylar looked back down not responding. "Alright if that's what you want but you can still come to school right?" Morion said. "Yeah sure." Skylar said in a shaky voice. "Alright its all about you and whatever you want. Skylar wanted to go to the center because she knew she would be showing signs of pregnancy and she didn't want to be around Morion for awhile. Of course she would see him at school but she was gonna take advantage of that time alone at the center.

Skylar smiled and jumped up to hug him. "Gimme a kiss." Morion said looking down at her. Skylar stood on her tip toes to kiss him. They walked to the room and Skylar got changed into her clothes. They went to sign out at the front. Morion was signing out when Dr.Lane spotted them. "Im glad I could catch you." Dr. Lane said. Skylar looked up and walked over to him. "Something you need to tell me?" Skylar asked. "I just needed to give you this." Dr. Lane said handing Skylar a piece of paper. Skylar looked at it in confusion. "Its information about your stay at the center, I printed it out myself." Dr. Lane said. "Thanks." Skylar said. Skylar slipped the piece of paper in her back pocket then walked over to Morion who was just now finishing up the signing out process. "You want to go see your grandma before we go?" Morion asked. "No she's the last person I want to see right now." Skylar said walking off. "Okaaay." Morion said soon following her. They walked to Morion's car in silence. Morion could tell something was wrong but he didn't bother asking. He knew Skylar had been through a lot.

"You know where you going?" Skylar said. "Yeah I a family member of mine been here before." Morion said keeping his eyes on the rode. "Oh really like who?" Skylar asked. "My Bird." (Bird is slang for Mama or mom lhh). "You never told me that, in fact I've never even met your parents." Skylar said. "It was nothing to tell and yeah I know." "So when can I meet them?" Skylar said. "I don't know." Morion said. "Is there something your not telling me?" Skylar said. "My moms she in jail." Morion said. "For what?" Skylar said. Morion took awhile to reply. "She shot my pops three times for having an affair." Morion said. "So who do you live with then?" Skylar asked. "My Aunt who's never really home." Morion replied. "why haven't you told me this Morion, I tell you everythi-." Skylar thought about the fact that what she was about to say was a total lie. "Nevermind." Skylar said. She then turned to look out of the window and saw a huge building. She knew that they had reached there destination. "Were here." Morion said pulling into the lot. Skylar pulled out the information Dr. Lane had gave her before she left the hospital. She read over it and stopped at the words "Patients can only have attend there on social events two days a week." It also said. "If you are still in any type of educational things you may attend that on the days you must go(Optional.) Skylar Williams you should be here or about a month. Enjoy"
