Yandere High: Pokèmon Version (Samgladiator YHS fanfic)

Chapter 1: The Night Before...

Welcome to the world of Pokèmon. Filled with about 150 types of Pokèmon! Young trainers around the world begin their journey a little town. Where the professor offers 3 types of starters. Water, Squirtle. Grass, Bulbasaur. And finally Fire, Charmander. A trainers goal is level up their new partners and catch many more along the way. Defeating other trainers, and gym leaders is a way to go. But if all your Pokemon faint it's a trip to the pokècenter for you. All this begins in Pallet Town... In the prospective of four 16 year old trainers.

Sam's POV

I was playing gamecrab in my room with my good pals Taurtis and Yuki. We were friends since we were first excited for the day we were able to get our own Pokèmon! Tomorrow will be the day it comes, we've been waiting for 12 years! "Sam, are you excited for tomorrow?!" Taurtis asked as I nodded in excitement. I looked out the window as the game was over. "It's nighttime guys, which means it's about 8:37." Yuki pointed out.

"What time do we have to go pick up our starter?" I asked Taurtis. He shrugged his shoulders and my mom came upstairs with a tray of sandwiches and drinks. "Here Sam's friends. Your parents agreed to allow you to stay for the night." Mom said as she set the food on the desk near by us. "Alright! We're gonna play gamecrab all night!" Taurtis said as he got the next game set up. "BUT only if you guys go to sleep at 9:30, you have to wake up early for tomorrow!" She added.

"Oh mom, but we hardly get to stay over this late at each other's houses!" I pouted while I sat on my bed. She chuckled and then crossed her arms. "It's only fair." She remarked. Taurtis went up to go get a sandwich and when he took a bite, he quickly finished it in two seconds. "This is delicious! Yuki, you have to try this!" He said as Yuki got up and tried one for herself.

I've had these sandwiches for 16 years now, they've just lost their taste for me. It's one of those situations where something is good but when you eat the same thing for a long period of time it gets really boring. Yuki took a bite and then my mom smiled while the two enjoyed her food. "Go on Sam, this is the second to last meal I'll give you here." She said as I shrugged my shoulders and then went up to go get one.

"Thanks Mrs. Gladiator, this is very good!" Yuki said while I grabbed one for myself. "Please, just call me Ms. Gladiator... Since Sam's dad just went ahead and left me with him." She said while she went back downstairs.

"What's that all about, Sam?" Taurtis asked. I took a bite of my sandwich and then opened one eye while I ate it. After I swallowed it I replied. "My dad left us when I was only 3 to become a Pokèmon trainer. I think he's still out there, but as a gym leader. I don't know which one though."

"Well that sucks, my dad is just in team rocket." Yuki said while I sighed and Taurtis finished his food, which meant he was on to his drink. "That sucks for you two, my parents are just normal people who don't own Pokèmon." Taurtis said while he started biting the straw. "Why do you do that?" I asked him. He titled his head in confusion as he continued to bite it. "Why do you bite the straw?" "Oh, this? I don't know why, just a habit." He stated.

"But how is it having a dad that's in team rocket?" Taurtis asked while she paused for a moment. "He wants me to join him when I get my Pokèmon, but I lied to him and said I would when I get enough." She said while I nodded.

"Well we should continue playing gamecrab now that we can, we only have like 30 minutes left." Taurtis said while he set down the empty glass on the trey. The other food that was leftover we were gonna eat while we played. It was going to be a fun night. I went over to the window next to my bed. I saw the small city and then the lab. I sighed in happiness while looking at the dark sky. "I'm ready."
