Sam's POV

After a day or two in the forest, we finally made it to Pewter City. Well almost, we can see it but it's still a mile away. So we'll be there in a couple of minutes. We didn't really level up our Pokemon too much, we're mostly into leaving that dirty and cold forest. It was already getting dark, so we would be glad to finally sleep on a bed instead of the ground again. "When we get there let's just get a room and sleep right away, I am exhausted..." Taurtis said while he was slouched over.

"Yeah me too! I can't wait to lay down on a bed." I said while my back did hurt a little, the ground just isn't a good place to really sleep when you've been sleeping on a soft bed all your life. "Hey, you guys remember J, right?" Yuki asked me and Taurtis.

"Yeah, how come?" I asked. Taurtis nodded and Grian just remained silent. "He messaged me saying he was here! Maybe we would meet up with him and say hello." Yuki informed us. It seemed like a good idea, so we agreed to it. "Sure, sounds great!" I said. "Grian, would you like to meet our good friend J? He used to attend our Pokemon school but he transferred."

"Alright." Grian agreed. I grinned and then looked at the city while we continued to walk through the trails. As we were walking by, some Pidgey could be seen and a few rattatas could be seen running around. A view like this is something you can't get a chance to see every day.

Grian's POV

We've finally arrived at the Pokemon center, after walking a couple of minutes. By a couple.. I mean 20 minutes. We've already checked out a room, so now we just need to meet this J person in the cafeteria. "There he is, hi J!" Taurtis said while waving to a guy with glasses. "Hey guys." J said to us as we walked over to him.

"J, here's Grian. I don't think you would remember him, since he did come from a different school a week before you left yourself." Yuki introduced me. We took a seat at the same table he was on while he went back in time with his thoughts. "No, I don't really remember you, anyways nice to meet you." He said while holding out his hand for a handshake. I accepted it and then I gave a nod of approval.

"Ok so what I'm eating is some steak, I would love to go for some steak right now." Taurtis said while he looked at the kitchen. There were chefs working and making food while the other trainers here were with their Pokemon. "Actually. I should go, I need to do... Something." Sam said while getting up from the table and leaving. "That's strange, where could he be going?" Yuki asked.

"We should just leave him alone, it did seem a little important anyway." J told us.

Sam's POV

I stepped outside while going to the back of the Pokemon center. It was fairly well lit, luckily it wasn't to the point where it would be able to wake someone up at the middle of the night because of how bright the lighting is. I walked to the center of the field and looked down at the dirt.

When I was about to get out Bulbasaur's Pokèball, I was stopped by the noise of something walking in the bushes behind me. I looked around the area and I saw where the noise was coming from. "Hmm." I mumbled under my breath while studying the shrub. The color of the shrub was rather odd. There was green and red, unlike the other ones, they were just plain green. Wait... Hold on a second.

Before I knew it, a Charmander jumped up at me, surprising me. "Char!" He shouted while he sprang out of the bushes as I shouted. He tackled me down and then I landed on the ground with a small thud. It was enough for him to get most of the air out of my body. I gasped while he got off me and held on to my stomach as I got out Bulbasaur's pokèball and threw it, sending him out.

"Bulbasaur!" He cried his own name, as I anticipated. The Charmander looked fierce. He knew he had the advantage in this match. Weakly, I tried to command Bulbasaur. "Use... Tackle!" I said while he did so. Charmander dodged it and scratched Bulbasaur. "Try to go for a leech seed!" I shouted, feeling slightly better.

Bulbasaur turned around from the position was in and as he did a backflip, a seed spat out of his bulb and was shot directly at Charmander. Shocked, he backed away and then was hit with the attack. His health was now being drained. Charmander attempted to attack him, but since he was stuck in the leech seed attack, he was slower than usual. So Bulbasaur was able to dodge it no problem.

"Now use Tackle once more!" I said, hoping to catch this Pokemon. Bulbasaur did as told, and used tackle on Charmander, sending it flying and landing on the ground. After its health was sucked out, I got out a pokèball and held it close. I glared at the lizard Pokemon and then threw it at him. "You're mine!" I shouted while Bulbasaur joined me by my side while the ball hit Charmander on his forehead.

After a couple seconds of intensely waiting, he was finally caught. He was officially my pokèmon. "I did it... My first caught Pokemon! Alright!" I shouted while Bulbasaur looked at me while smiling. One of his vines from his bulb came out and he gave me a high-five-like action. I ran to the pokèball and then looked at it in awe while I had the widest grin I've had recently. "Welcome to the team, friend." I said while I held the pokèball close.

My first catch of my journey, what a day. I can't wait to see what other Pokemon I have to catch! Hopefully the next one is super cool! I let out Charmander and when he jumped out, he landed in a slight agony while still heavily panting. "Oh, right, you two need to be healed." I chuckled while returning the two Pokemon.

Yuki's POV

He returned his Bulbasaur and new friend, Charmander. He left silently, while he did I looked at him as he left. I was in my room, I came here to get my phone, but in the process I saw him battling a Charmander and then catching it.

He's so amazing. Everything he does just makes me feel warm inside... I sat on my bed and then looked down on the ground while I closed my eyes. I sighed and then smiled, Sam is going to be a great trainer...

I rushed into the leader's main office while panting from all the running I've done. "Sir, we just lost a cargo crate full of rare and valuable Pokemon! We have no idea where it is!" I shouted while he spun his chair around and gave me a look. "How rare were they?" He asked.

I gulped my saliva while I tugged on my shirt collar. "The average was..." I said, fearing his reaction. "1 in a 300th chance... To find them..." I informed him.

"Find it. NOW." He shouted while I nodded and then left his office in fear. Oh man, if we don't find all of these Pokemon we'll be in deep trouble! We need to find them no matter what. If a trainer has caught them, then I need to steal it from him! It's the only way!
