Chapter 6( Listen to the song!)

Demontre'

It's 1:00 pm and I'm on my way to Diamond's. To be honest, I'm afraid of what Diamond is going to say or if she's even going to listen to what I have to see. All this stuff going on right now worries me. What if she never let's me see my kids again? And now she's letting my kids call another nigga daddy? What is really going on?

I pulled up in the driveway, ready to give my speech and my explaination. I go out the car and walked up to the door.

Knock Knock Knock

I waited for a good two minutes and I knocked again. I put my head down and as soon as I heard the door open I lifted back up.

"Can I help you?" The guy that I ran into yesterday said. 

"Um, I think I have the wrong house... sorry." I turned around to walk away.

"Babe who's at the do---, Demontre'?" I could he the surprise in her voice as she walked behind the guy with another girl behind her.

"Uh, yeah Diamond I need to talk to you." I was so nervous. I haven't been this nervous since I asked her out the first time.

"No you don't need to talk to me Demontre'. You said everything you had to say when you left that note on the roof, and I said everything I had to say to you yesterday at Starbuck's. Now if you will please leave. MY kids are sleeping." She made it very clear that she didn't want to talk to me, but I wasn't giving up that easy. I took a step closer only to be blocked by her "boyfriend."

"Playboy, did you not hear her? She doesn't want to talk to you and OUR kids are sleeping. Now please get out of our yard before I have to call the police on you." He threatened.

"Keem, do you want me to go get the phone?" The girl behind Diamond asked.

"Nah Lyric, just wait and see if he leaves." Keem responded cooly.

"Listen man, I mean no harm. Diamond was MY fiance' and I feel as though I need to speak to her and explain to her my situation. Please?" I was so desperate to talk to her.

"No. Now leave Demontre' before you wake up my kids." And with those words, the door was slammed in my face.

*Later that Night*

I know it's sad that I'm moping around listening to sad country music, but I can't help it I miss her. I turned on Come Wake Me Up by Rascal Flatts, and I sung along.
