Montre's POV

As I walked home from the store, I couldn't help the tears fall down my face. All of this just kept falling apart so fast, I didn't know what to do. All of this is happening because of me moving here. Fuck!

As I walk up the steps to the door, I recieved a call. The caller ID wasn't saved on my phone. I didn't know if I should answer the call or not...

" Hello? " I answered the phone in a scared voice not knowing who it was.

" Hello? Sir can you hear me?" A lady asks me

" Yes Ma'am "

" Are you Melvin's cousin that was here at the hospital earlier with him?" As the lady asked me that I felt a relief. But I wonder why she was calling me about Mel?

" Well sir I got some news for you. The bad news is we are terribly sorry..."

As she said that I begun to cry.

" Sir are you okay? "

" Yes ma'am, I just lost my cousin."

" Sir what I was going to say was the bad news is we are terribly sorry that one of the new nurses gaved you the wrong info on Melvin. He's still alive sir, he's not dead. "

" Is he really? Thank you so much I have to go! " I told her in the happiest tone

I have to go tell August & Diamond the great news. And at that moment was when it hit me. I haven't even gotten a call back from Diamond.

I reached for the front door turned the noob and heard the kids crying twords me.

" Daddy mommy left and she didn't came back. We seen a lady with a gun and went to the back door. Then we seen her taking mommy with her. "  My kids said in a scared to e.

As I walked to the back door I heard steps coming close to me.

" Kids go back up stairs, I will bring mommy back. "

As the steps got closer I pulled out my gun. But the steps came closer and louder. As I get ready to point I seen it was August and felt relief.

" Yo August I have some great news. The hostipatl said they gaved me the wrong news , Mel is still alive! "

" That's great cuz, but we have a big problem. Diamond is missing and the back door window is broken like someone got in. "

I walked over to the door and seen a note next to the door on the floor. I tried to grab it carefully with all the glass shattered on the floor. As I grab the note and cone back to my standing position I notice it was a perfect handwriting that said..."

" August, if you ever want to see your precious cousins soon to be wife, turn yourself in with us and we will let her go. I don't need to go into more details of who I am or why, I think my little brother selling rocks on the corner will let you know who I'm related to. You have 72 hours to turn yourself in to us, or else we kill her and all your family like we killed Mel! " as I finished reading the note out loud August looked at me confused.

" I thought Mel was still Alive? "

" He is, when the nurse told me the news, this one lady got up and left. August I think that was her! I remember her saying to the lady at the desk her name was Shanderia and she was Melvin's girlfriend. "
