As I pushed open the doors my eyes were blurred by a familiar glowing sensation. It took a moment for my eyes to focus but once they did I noticed my younger sister and my older brother standing there. It had been 2 months ago when I'd seen them last.
"Here's your medication. Make sure you take it twice a day to help ensure you stay on the road of recovery. If you feel like you're going to crash, call me." She handed me a small piece of paper with a phone number on it and a bottle of pills. I smiled and nodded. The doors closed. I turned to see my big brother Andrew holding Cami tight. Our eyes locked; I could tell he didn't think I was ready to come home. His eyes were glassy, but his face was expressionless.
Cami let go of him and ran over to me, "I've missed you so much Sarah! I'm so happy your coming home!" I looked down at her and smiled.
"Me too." I wrapped my arms around her tightly. I haven't hugged a person in so long; I had a large craving for affection, but she wasn't fulfilling it. I glanced over to Andrew, who was placing all my bags in the trunk. I grabbed Cami's hand and led her to the car. We sat down and she started telling me about all I missed out on while I was gone, but I wasn't really listening because every time I looked in the mirror I saw Andrew giving me dirty looks. I don't get why he's being all weird; I thought he would be happy for me that I've recovered. I guess not.
