I pulled out my phone to see what time it was; 10:57... I had missed the rest of English and all of math. Now time for chorus. As I walked into the chorus room, all eyes were on me. My teacher, Mr. Stanton, handed me lyrics to songs we were focusing on for the next month. I took me seat, confused. Never had there been a time where all of the songs were by the same artist. What made this one more special than the others?
"Class, by now I'm sure you've all noticed that all of the songs u have are different from eachother, no 2 of you have the same songs. Also, all of them are written by the same musician; demi lovato, who we will be studying for the majority of the school year." My face dropped into a big "o". I didn't know anything about Demi, except for the fact she was another disney weirdo. I was so dissapointed, if we were going to study any musician couldn't it be someone cooler like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Bruno mars, imagine dragons, or Justin bieber? They all worked hard to get where they are, demi just auditioned for a roll which jump started her career. What made this demi girl so important that we had to study her music?
I opened up my music and read the song titles of the ones I was given. "Warrior", "Skyscraper", and "Fix A Heart". Hmm... weird song names.... I thought to myself.
