The elevator doors open, exposing an expensive bachelor pad."Welcome to my San Fransisco getaway pad. Pretty nice, right?" Scott says leading me into the the huge living room. Everything was either matte-black or made of glass. Not really my style, but it'll work.
"Wow. It's...... breathtaking." I say, looking around.
"Would you like something to drink?"
"No thank you, I'm fine." I say while Scott pours himself a small glass of champagne.
"Want to see my favorite part of this place?" He held out his hand. I grab on to it and he leads us up a flight of glass stairs. He opens a door, revealing a rooftop deck.
"Wow." I am taken back by the breathtaking view. We're sounded by lit up skyscrapers on oner side, and the dark ocean on the other. It was just like the movies.
"This is my favorite place to come." Scott says leaning against the railing. I stand next to him, leaning my head on my shoulder.
"I could get used to this."
"Me too." He suddenly turns to face me, putting his hands on my waist and pulling me closer. His lips meet mine, savoring each kiss. He glides his hands up and down my back, making my knees weak. I ruffle his hair as our body grinds together. Not letting go of the kiss, Scott guides us to an outdoor couch. We slowly lay on the couch with my body under his.
Just as things were progressing, his phones begin to ring. He grunts in frustration and picks up the phone.
"Hello?" He speaks into the phone as I'm stilling lying on my back, giggling.
"Hi Scott. It's me, Olivia, Eva's sister."
Scott looks at me, wide-eyed. I couldn't believe how thirsty my sister was! She seriously ruins everything!
"Oh.. um.. yeah, hi." Scott says awkwardly.
"What are you doing?"
"Not much... just hanging out with a friend."
"Oh... well I was wondering if you wanted to go out for drinks. But I guess you're busy."
"Thanks for the invitation. Maybe another time." He says quickly hanging up the phone.
"I am so sorry about that."
"No, it's fine. Now where were we?" He says, practically pouncing onto me.
And with just our luck, my phone begins ringing.
"Are you serious?" I yell, irritated. I glance at my phone to see Olivia's face. My blood boils. "What do you want?" You can tell i'm irritated by my voice.
"Gosh, what's with the attitude? I was just telling you that I'm on my way to pick you up at Nikki's." Olivia says through the phone, making my heart drop. I look up at Scott, with my mouth hanging open. He mouths what? when he notices my shocked face.
"Really? It's so early. We were just about to paint our nails." I try to come up with excuses while Scott gets off of me and begins to gather himself up.
"We can do that at home, I'm bored. Text you when I get there." She hangs up the phone.
"Shit! What do we do?" I panic.
"Um........." Scott thinks as he rubs his forehead. "I'll call her and tell her to meet up with me somewhere."
"Yes! Do it!" I hand him his phone and he quickly begins to dial her number.
--------
"Sorry, but something came up. Just have Nikki take you home, bye."
"Well that worked." Scott said, feeling relieved.
"I can't believe she'd stand me up for a guy!" I admit.
"Let's get you home now." We make our way downstairs to the car.
"Wait, are you actually going to meet up with her?" I ask after thinking about it for awhile.
"Want me to raincheck?"
"Knowing her, yes! She'll do anything to get into bed with you."
Scott drives onto the freeway to get home. To be honest, I'm a little bummed out that the night took a weird turn. I just wonder what would've happened if we hadn't been interrupted. Would we have gone too far? Am I ready for that? I've only done it once with Nathan, and that was horrible. I can't imagine doing it with an experienced grown man.
But I do admit, I really was enjoying our little makeout sesh.
-------
"Thanks for tonight. I had a lot of fun." I say, giving him a quick, but steamy, kiss.
"No problem. I'll text you later."
I walk up the steps of my house to my front door. Scott drives away quickly, so no one sees.
"Who was that?" Olivia asks, not even three seconds of me entering the house.
"That was Nikki." I lie.
"But, she just posted a picture on snapchat of her eating with her cousins."
"Oh... well, we, um......" I begin to stutter, "Wait, I thought you were going somewhere?"
"I was going to, but I had to come back home." She says, quickly going up stairs.
I stand there, really shaken up. I know Olivia, she's onto me, and won't stop until she cracks what is going on.
