"Can I have a Peppermint Mocha please?" Nikki treated me to some coffee at our favorite coffee shop, Coffee and Cake. I ordered my usual drink.
"So, how was it last night? I want to know everything." Nikki implied as we sat at a tall table. I was hesitant to answer, but I know that she'd bug em about it.
"It was pretty awesome. We watched a movie and went to dinner. Then he took me to his place, which was so luxurious." I say, trying my hardest not to give too much away.
"Okay, so you said that he's older. So how old?"
"In his twenties."
"Ohh, college guy?" she wiggled her eyebrow.
"No, he actually graduated two years ago." I laughed nervously.
"Dang girl, so he's really an adult. Does he know your age?"
"Yes, and he's cool with it. I'm going to be eighteen in two months, so it really isn't that bad."
"True. And you act and look like you're twenty, so I understand. What does he do for a living?"
My heart began to beat really fast. How do I answer this? "He, ummm, works in business. Yeah, his parents own a big company, so he decided to join the business."
"So he's super rich?"
"A little. He lives in a mansion, and has a penthouse in San Fransisco."
"Awesome. Well, I'd love to see a picture of him."
I began to hesitate again, "Not yet. We really aren't that serious, so it'd be pointless." She noticed my nervousness.
"It's fine, I understand." she gave me an approving nod. "Anyways, are you excited for the Senior Sleepover?"
I was relived that she changed the topic. "Yes! I can't wait!"
Nikki began talking about what to wear and what movies we should watch, but all I could think about was how much longer can I hide Scott from her and Olivia.
--------
Later that night, I decided to stay home and relax. I was in need for night to myself.
I ran the water in my bathtub, lit a few candles, and played my favorite band, The 1975. Opening the cabinet under my sink, I look at the row of bath bombs. My eyes land on the large blue and pink sphere. Intergalactic.
The steam from the warm water began to fill the bathroom, so I began to strip from my clothes and put my hair into a messy bun. I stood infront of the mirror to check myself out.
I am pretty confident in my body, because I kicked ass trying to get it in this shape. I'm pretty slim with a nice plump booty and a toned tummy. My boobs have always been small and perky, but i'm okay with that.
Running my hand down my sides, I remember last night with Scott. I wonder what he thinks about me.
Once the tub fills up, I turn off the faucet and throw in the bath bomb. It begins to spin around, fizzing, dying the water with its neon colors. Dipping my feet into the water, I slowly submerge my body into the bath.
I rest my head against the back of the tub, and shut my eyes. I exhale, letting all of my stress flow away.
After a few minutes of daydreaming and humming along to the music, my phone buzzes. I dry off my hands and pick it up, opening my lock screen.
Scott: Hey Eva, how's it going?
Not a bad interruption.
Me: Hey! Not much, just relaxing, taking a bath.
I reply, biting my lip.
Scott:Sounds fun ;)
Me: Would be more fun if you were here too.
I press the send button without any thought. Oops.
Scott replies almost immediately.
Scott: Wish I could see...
I promiscuously snap a pic of my legs in the water. Nothing to risky.
Me: I'll just put this here...
This time he takes a bit longer to reply. Did I scare him away?
Scott: Can I pick you up?
I read this message, almost giving myself a heart attack. My heart is beating out of my chest. Doesn't this only happen in high school?
Me: Sure, I'll find a way to get out.
Scott: Be there in twenty ;)
-----
After drying myself up, I quickly change into black leggings, tan Uggs, and a long maroon sweater.
"Where are you going?" My mom asks, peeking her head into my room.
"Meeting up with some friends for pizza." It kills me to lie to her.
"That's fun. Are they picking you up?"
"Um, yeah... In a bit." I smile and continue to fix my hair.
"I don't want you home too late." She points and finally walks away.
My phone vibrates.
Scott: I'm here.
I glance out my window and see his black Range Rover parked across the street.
Checking the hallway, making sure the coast is clear, I make my way to the front door.
"Bye!" I yell, closing the door behind me.
Tonight should be interesting.
