"Kids VS School." (Part 1) ~ Chapter 10

3rd person p.o.v.

The four adults were all up around five in the morning to prep and get the kids ready for school. Yes, the kids are going back to school. No, it wasn't a new year- Well, technically, yes it was because New Years came and went, but all the kids were already in school. All kids except Mason, Alexis, Xavier, and Chrissy. The other kids aren't always in school due to both bands needing time for interviews, photoshoots, studio time, shows, etc. Although, they are making the school work up by doing it online. At this time, Ashley, CC, Ron, and Derek ran up and down the halls banging on pots and pans to get the kids up. All the kids, somehow in unison, fell out of their beds. The only two that didn't hit the floor was Andy and Mason, who were cuddling in Andy's bed with headphones on. Mason slept in Andy and Ronnie's room because, well, of course he would. The kids all made their way downstairs yawning, rubbing their eyes, and stretching. As Ashley and CC stood counting kids, they quickly realized they were missing two. That's we they headed to Andy and Ronnie's room to retrieve Andy first, but their eyes landed on Andy, who had his arms wrapped around Mason, holding him close, sleeping soundly.

Both CC and Ashley shared a sigh. "They just won't listen." Ashley frowned a bit.

"Well, they do seem to love each other." CC spoke softly as he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Yeah, but as brothers, not like...that." Ashley sighed after.

"Ron and I were like that." CC admitted quietly with a shrug.

Ashley faced him. "What?"

In response, CC shrugged again and gave him a cheeky smile before walking into the room. Ashley huffed and followed him in, making a mental note to interrogate his boyfriend about it later. "Andy, Mason, you gotta get up." CC spoke as he shook their shoulders after Ashley had taken the headphones off the two.

"No, we're sleeping." They both groaned in unision.

Andy pulled Mason closer. "Plus Mason's so cuddly and warm." A small smirk started growing on his face.

Ashley rolled his eyes. "Get up now, or you'll both get spanked." Ashley warned them. Mason woke up. He was doing a very good job of not getting spanked so far. He had told Alexis, Chrissy, and Xavier that he would be the last one to get spanked. With that said, they all put money on it and whoever was the last to get in trouble would get about eighty dollars. Although, Chrissy was quickly eliminated for the fact they all remembered she was the first out of all the kids to get spanked first. So now whoever is the last to get in trouble between the three will get sixty dollars. "You have to the count of three." Ashley said as he held up three fingers on his right hand. Mason was trying to get up, but Andy quickly tightened his grip. "One." He started and put his ring finger down. Andy smirked more as held pulled Mason closer, who was still squirming. Ashley placed his middle finger down, "Two." He stated. All Andy did was huff in his half-sleep state. "Two in a half" Ashley warned as he moved his index finger a bit.

"I'm up! I'm up! Don't spank me!" Mason yelled. CC finally realized that the reason Mason wasn't getting out of bed was because Andy had a firm grip on the boy. He grabbed Mason's arm and pulled him out of Andy's grip. Andy pouted in response. Mason was now hovering over the floor, giggling a bit at how strong his Daddy was. "Daddy, put me down, please."

CC did as told placed Mason his feet. He then kissed Mason's head and said, "Go get in the shower for me." Mason nodded and ran back into his and Xavier room.
