Mason's P.o.v.

Continuing to cry in his shoulder, Kellin sat me down in a stairwell, although, I didn't let go of him. "Mase, let go, please?" Kellin asked. I hesitated before slowly letting go with my head down.

"Tell me what in the world happened?" Kellin asked.

"Andy got mad that I said we have two Dads and then he yelled. I cried, then he apologized and said how hard it was for him because he didn't have a Mom." I said "But he was lucky he had a Mom at all and at least spent time with her!"

Kellin looked at me with sad eyes. "Mason, it was hard on him. He loved her, but he never felt the love from her and then next thing she's leaving him and-"

"Stop! Don't start!" I stood up and collected my things. "I never even had a Mom! So don't start! I hate you and him! Fuck off!" I stormed down the stairs not knowing where they led to and just kept walking. Why is it so hard for people to understand? Am I in the wrong? He had a Mom at one point. I never did and never will. I was walking in the halls when a kid with a red plastic hall pass jogged toward me.

"Are you Mason?" He asked. His hair was dirty blonde from what I could tell under the backwards hat and his eyes were a blue-green, almost teal color. He was tall and dressed in dark blue jeans, converse, and a black shirt with white splatters all around.

"Y-Yes. Why?" I asked hesitantly.

"You're in my biology class, I'm Justin." He answered. "The teacher is looking for you."

"Oh... Uhh, thanks. I was lost" I said, sheepishly.

"Hey, it's all cool. It's hard on the first day, I get it." Justin said with a smile. "Plus there are four different floors. It's not easy." He chuckled. I followed him back to a classroom that went complete silent.

"Thank you, Mr. Quinn." The teacher said. Istood where I was and began biting my lip without realizing it. Alexis and I share that habit. "You must be Mr. Purdy-Coma, Mason?" The guy asked. He looked old but still was somewhat young. His hair was white, but his voice sounded kind of young and he had a cute little round belly.

"Y-Yes." I answered.

"Very good. Well, I'm Mr. Smith, take a seat." He told me. I watched Justin placed the pass on the counter and sat back down. He sat in the back row of the fifth column. In the sixth column which was also the last one, sat in the seat right before the last was Xavier. As I let time pass and stalled to go to a seat, I could feel everyone getting mad with me. So, I slowly walked to a desk until both Justin and Xavier started pointing to the seat that was in the corner behind Xavier and next to Justin. So, I continued and went to Xavier and Justin.

"Sweet, you're in this class." Xavier smiled. I returned the smile.

Soon it came to the end of the day. I followed Jake, who actually dragged me outside. "What are you doin'?" I asked and then cleared my throat to try and drown my accent.

Jake smirked. "You're clueless. Did Dad and Daddy not tell you?" In response, I shook my head. I honestly didn't know what he was talking about. "We get picked up at the end of the day. Even in the morning we get dropped off- Well, depending." He said. Soon enough, everyone else was outside, standing around. I ignored Andy the whole day, it hurt, but he really hurt me! So it's- it's fair, right?
