If not for you, I wouldn't know
What true love really meant.
I'd never feel this inner peace;
I couldn't be content.

If not for you, I'd never have
The pleasures of romance.
I'd miss the bliss, the craziness,
Of love's sweet, silly dance.

I have to feel your tender touch;
I have to hear your voice;
No other one could take your place;
You're it; I have no choice.

If not for you, I'd be adrift;
I don't know what I'd do;
I'd be searching for my other half,
Incomplete, if not for you.

Gasping for breath my body shot up. I was laying on something soft and familiar. My eyes searched around my very own room as I gave a slight sigh.

It was just another dream.

"Spring! You are finally up!" I screamed from the sudden burst of Mariah plodding into my bedroom with the same dress she wore in my dream. I could of sworn..

"He told me you fainted but we never knew when you would raise from the dead." she paced my room before she came closer, peering over my face closely.

"Are you feeling okay?" she asked worryingly, probably noticing my blank stare. "Speak...or do something!" I heard her plead. I closed my eyes, praying that everything that happened was just a illusion, including all my dreams.

"Is he here?" I finally asked as Mariah's face was flushed with relief. She shook her head side to side "he left right after he layed you on your bed."

I sighed not knowing if I was relieved or upset. "Ohh, but he mentioned something about a week and that if you had questions before the given date, meet him at the Tipton Point. I think he gave a number of 15 or 50... I forget." she rubbed her chin thinking.

I thought over what she had just told me as she starting talking about, Eli. "Wait...did he tell you his name?" I asked desperately, interrupting her.

"No, he was in a hurry for some reason. He was whispering to himself as he left, right before he told me the instructions." Mariah walked towards my dresser picking up something long and silver.

She held it gentle as she came close to me, "After he laid you down, he took this off." my eyes landed on a silver moon pendant. My finger gently reached over and ran over the smooth chain.

"It is beautiful." I whispered as Mariah dropped it into my opened palm. I looked at it closely noticing a letter that was engraved. A letter that resembled an A.

Could it stand for his name?

Adam? ...

Aaron? ...

"I am going to leave you alone time. Plus, it is practically three in the morning." she yawned stretching her arms. I looked away from the necklace up to her "You can borrow my clothes to change too and sleep on the couch till you go to work in the morning."

Mariah gasped as her eyes grew big "Shit!" she quickly grabbed a white sweater from my floor and pulled out denim jeans. I eyed her as she rushed around looking for shoes.
