Are eyes, oh so different

from blue to hazel brown

ice blue, so full of vitality and anticipation

speckled grey, alluring and playful

dim green, distinct and haunting

honey brown, soft and tender

marbling brown, filled with warmth and security

Eyes, are they oh so different?

A warm hand wrapped around mine, my eyes looking down as I felt my cheeks rise with heat. Scooting closer to Asher, noticing I was wanting to be as far as away from all the shades of eyes staring at me.

Before I could resist, I felt a tug from Asher, who was currently walking us into the crowd with his other arm tightly around my waist. Slight hushed whispers surrounded the room around us knowing of what the subject was about. Looking up to his face, I noticed the stern look as he set his eyes unto a blond woman near a table. She had the same forest green eyes as Asher, leaving me breathless. She was beautiful. Asher had us stop infront of her as she gave off a smirk.

She caught my eyes as I was speculating her high cheek bones that were identical to Ashers. Were they related?

"Do you mind?" she sneered, I caught her roll her eyes as she shot daggers at me with her stare. She caught me off guard as I came up with something to say only a small whisper came out "Sorry.".

Asher quickly squeezed my hand gently, my eyes looked up to his instantly making me feel better. "I would be so disappointed to know that I was paired up with a weak human for my mate, especially for being Alpha." she spoke, looking me up and down as she took a step closer. Asher took a step infront of me making a frown form on her mouth "What? No seeing how the future Luna can fight?"

"You know clearly well I banned you from here." he calmy spoke with a dark voice sending shivers run down my spine. All eyes were on us, watching intensely at the scene. I peered around Asher, my eyes locking on the woman infront of us. She stood with her arms crossed, looking like a greek godess.

"Now brother, you know I had to see the human for myself." she answered before noticing that I was peeking behind Asher.

So they were siblings.

She locked eyes with mine before she gave off a gasp "You didn't tell me she wasn't all human." I heard her hiss out.

Not all human? I gave off a slight chuckle from inside knowing she was crazy. I felt a vibration of a threatening growl come from Asher as her eyes grew large. "If you as much say a word about her to those mutts, I will kill you myself." he spat out making me take a step back away from him as they both staired at each other.

I felt a slight touch on my elbow, looking up into familiar golden orbs, "Eli?" I whispered in surprise. He quickly nodded before he took my arm, walking us both out to a balcony.

Wind blew my hair lightly as he closed the doors before turning to me, "Uhh, well sorry about those two. Bad history between them, I mean Ashley did betray our pack last year." he said looking down as if he wasn't suppose to be saying anything.

So Ashley was her name. Sounding familiar to Asher's name.

"They are twins. Let us just say she is literally a bitch." Eli stated, answering my thoughts. I gave off a soft laugh. "Your eyes say a lot." I looked down wondering what he meant. "Asher will explain the rest, but for now he told me to take you out here."
