Every time Rowan pulled, the ropes seemed to get tighter around her wrists. She knew she was bleeding and it wasn't worth the pain, but that didn't stop the small glimmer of hope inside her that she could get out. Her people were without a doubt worried about her and wouldn't hesitate to send troops. Although they had been saving the hazmat suits for war, the rest of the runners would force the foragers to use them if they had to. Rowan was like a sister to them after all. A sliver of light illuminated the area that Rowan had been kept in darkness. She squinted, seeing the same mop of brown hair that locked her up there to begin with.

"You know," She rasped. Her voice hoarse from not being used. "I would have been no harm to you if you hadn't brought me in here."

"There was no way I could have known that." Bellamy scoffed pulling a chair in front of the girl. Ro glared up at him spreading her legs out in front of her.

"You should just let me go." She lulled her head to the side. "That way nobody gets hurt and we can go on with our lives."

Bellamy liked that idea as much as the foreigner in front of him, but Jasper still hadn't recovered and Clarke needed information on the mystery herb that kept him from dying. Besides, Murphy was already growing restless at keeping Rowan in their camp that if Bellamy didn't find something out, he would torture the poor girl. "What can you tell me about the herb your people used to heal Jasper Jordan."

"I already told you." Rowan rolled her eyes. "I'm no grounder."

"And I might just believe you, when you tell me about your supposed community." Bellamy grinned, taking his knife out of the holster.

"What, now you're going to torture me?" Rowan raised her eyebrows, chuckling.

"No," Bellamy shook his head, placing the knife down just out of her reach. He leaned his elbows against his knees and studied Rowan as she eyed the weapon. "But I know my people will if you don't give us something to work with."

"Everything I can tell you you already know." Ro sighed.

"Enlighten me." Bellamy shrugged, eyes not leaving her. Her bright eyes flicked up to his brown ones before glancing to the side. The air around her thick as she attempted to devise a plan.

"They're dangerous." Rowan shook her head. "Too dangerous to ignore. They have lots of weapons they won't hesitate to use and I can tell you without a doubt your people don't stand a chance. At least not with the resources you hold now."

"How do you know this?" Bellamy questioned, intrigued with the girls story.

"I've fought them." She gulped, remembering the horrid night she lost the one she loved. "They're ruthless and cold hearted. None of them give a damn about your feelings or even one another. They're raised to kill and that's all they know. Is that enough for your research?" Rowan spat eyeing the boy who sat before her. He had it easy, living in space away from all of the Earths problems. Ro couldn't help but envy the life he had, though she didn't know the half of it.
