When Remus went to the werewolf colony, it was said he was running from Tonks and his complicated feelings for her but in reality he was escaping from his memories of Sirius.
His three best friends in the world were dead and one he thought as a friend had betrayed them all.
He sat in Sirius' room in Grimmauld Place and decided he could not face the memories of freedom and youth, the house that Sirius could never call home and had tried so hard to escape from.
So he left. Packed up a bag and went to Mad-eye, demanding he go on the mission.

A/N ok so this is kinda sad but it just came to me last night.
