Being the children of the-boy-who-lived meant Teddy, James, Albus and Lily were under constant pressure.
None felt it more than Teddy. As he had no biological connection to Harry and Ginny he felt as if he was a burden to them and that he had to change himself to fit in. This led him to stare at pictures of Harry and Ginny growing up until he could picture the younger versions of his guardians in his head. When out and about he would morph into something similar. Ginny thought nothing of it seeing the young child's behaviour as cute. Harry, who had felt like an outsider growing up, had a talk with him about how much he loved the little guy and how he was truly part of the family then he took him to see Remus and Tonks' portrait at Hogwarts. Soon Teddy saw how much he was loved and so he decided he would stand out from the crowd, and be the the best he could be, not just for himself but for his parents - both sets of them.
James Sirius suited his name so much that although aware of the pressure on him never felt it. He acted as he wished and didn't care if he was in news articles, whether they detailed his most recent prank or love affair.
Growing up Albus did not care much for the attention he was given. He just did as he wanted, whether it was rather read than watch quidditch or wear out of fashion clothes. Only once in his life did he ever feel the pressure and expectations that surrounded him - when he was sorted. Being sorted into the house of his father's greatest enemy wasn't the best thing that could of happened to him but after a quick owl post to his parents he saw that the people who really mattered to him cared only that he was happy, and so with his new best friend (and future husband) Scorpius, he lived his life to the fullest not caring what people other than his family thought of him.
Lily Luna felt the pressure of those around her much more than her brothers. As the only girl she was seen as weaker than her brothers, she believed that her red hair and freckles made her less attractive than those around her. She wished to fit in like James or simply not care like Albus but it was not that easy. She was helped by Teddy. She had not known of his previous struggles due to not being alive at the time, her best friend and oldest brother had always seemed so confident to her and so Teddy vowed to help her in anyway. He showed her how beautiful her hair was, how it shone with a dark green sweater. How unique her freckles were and even morphed himself into a picture of their Uncle Charlie as a 20 year old.
Although the Potter children were surrounded by these constant expectations they all grew to simply not care, living their lives in the way they wanted and following their own dreams.
