Chapter twenty six

"Hi I'm Paislyn Franta I'm here for a doctors appointment" i told the lady sitting behind the desk.

"Go wait over there the doctor will see you soon" she said not even looking at me" I held Connors hand and sat down.

"Are we gonna find out if it's a boy or girl today?" Connor asked.

"We can if you want to" I said and he nodded like a little kid.

I laughed a little and the doctor called my name.

Connor followed me back as we did the weight and measurements and stuff.

"Your 16 weeks is that correct?" The nurse asked.

I nodded and she told me to lay on the chair thing and lift my shirt up.

I lifted my shirt and pushed my skinny jeans down a little so she wouldn't get that goop on them.

She put the stuff on and moved the wand around.

"Are we gonna find out the gender today?" The nurse asked.
"yes!" Connor said before I had a chance.

"Okay you see that?" The nurse said pointing at the screen.

We both nodded.
"That's his little boy parts" she said.

Connor was super excited.

"Babe maybe we should move, like into a real house so we have enough room" I said in the drive home.

"I was thinking about that the other day and I already found one that I was gonna tell you about, and the great thing about it is there's a house across from it that Hope and Tyler want" he said. I squeezed his hand and he drove to the house.

It was a two story White House with blue shutters and a red front door. 

"I love it!" I said.

When the realtor showed up she unlocked the door.

When you walked in there was a huge living room and a huge kitchen. There was another smaller room that we could make into a play area for the baby.

There was also a guest bedroom and a bathroom downstairs.

She took us upstairs and there was a master bedroom and 3 other bedrooms. We had 2 bathrooms and a bathroom connected to the master bedroom.

I was in love with this house.

We put a down payment on it and went to lunch.

When we walked into Panera bread we saw Tyler standing at the counter and Hope was sitting at a table.

Is at down next to Hope and she jumped.

"Geez Pais, way to give this little baby's aunt a heart attack" she said pointing at my little bump.

"Your nephew is very healthy" I said.

She smiled and then freaked out.

"You said nephew! It's a boy!" She said. I nodded and laughed.

Connor ordered our food and I got up to sit next to him.

Tyler sat next to Hope and we ate.

"So Connor took me to see the house and I'm in love with it so we put a down payment on it" I told them.

"We put a down payment on ours today too!" Tyler said, his mouth full of bread.

Life was good.
