My abdomen ached and blood dribbled down my face. Envy was grinning, sitting in a nearby chair. "I haven't gotten to hit someone that hard since I fought Greed over a tuna sandwich. I don't even like tuna. I just really didn't want him to eat it." My hands were tied to the arms of a chair. Lust opened the door. "Envy, quit teasing her. She is our flesh and blood, after all." My eyes widened and Envy sighed. "She's your kid. She just has a tiny bit of my blood." Envy looked at me with realisation, then laughed. "Oh, this kid didn't know? Welcome home, kid. We're your real family." My face was pale. "So that's why you were dripping blood on me. How did any of you have me, anyway? You're Homunculi." Lust smiled. "I discovered that my body alone was capable of producing one child: you. There was a catch, of course. Your father was a chimera. Long ago, you had a twin brother. The price of having you was that he was sent to the other side of the gate. He didn't inherit as much of your power, though. He was specialized in ice and couldn't use alchemy. You, on the other hand, got it all. Fire, our abilities, and are the chimera out of you two. Well, half chimera. He couldn't transform into the half chimera like you." I remembered the man with dark red hair and a strange tattoo on his neck. "He must've been my father. Tell me one thing, Lust." She held out her hand. "Ask away, Fury." "My name is Fury? Whatever. Did you ever love my father?" She rubbed her chin. "As a homunculus, I can't exactly love, but yes, I did. Your father wanted to name you Arielle Rose Viennant. Your name as a homunculus is Fury." I heard the door slam shut. Greed walked into view. "Has she remembered yet? I have nations to conquer." Lust shook her head. "She knows about her father and I, atleast." Greed nodded and walked over to me. "When you were a little girl, I was basically your father. After all, you're the key to all power. A fail safe, just in case we died. Your father wanted you to live with him, but you had your duties to the homunculi. Now, you can finally fulfill your duties and help me take over the world." I spit on his face. He wiped it off, with a disgusted look on his face. "I'm not your failsafe. I am your demise." I lit him on fire and he fell to the ground. A loud explosion echoed throughout the room and I smiled. "Looks like my reinforcements. Nice knowing you." Greed howled in pain and Lust scowled. "Come on, Envy. We have things to do." Greed reached out towards Lust. "Don't leave me.." He mumbled. Lust simply walked away. He yelled and grabbed his side. General Armstrong and Colonel Mustang waltzed in with Edward. I looked up at them. "A little help here?" Edward ran over to untie me. He transmuted the metal cuffs around my hands into separate ingots and I rubbed my sore wrists. Mustang and I blasted Greed with waves of fire repeatively. He managed to stand in between blasts. "Why.. me?" He hoarsely said. He reached out his hand to touch me. It turned into his signature carbon shield. Suddenly, his hand changed directions and someone screamed.

It had just plunged through Edward's beart.

I realized the scream had been mine. The flames around him grew vicious and huge. I kneeled by Edward and cradled him. Everyone backed away and Greed turned to ashes. I wailed and Edward went cold. I cried, holding him. I closed his eyes and laid him down. Panicking, I lit the ground on fire in the shape of a transmutation circle for human transmutation. I pressed my hands to it and cried. The ground lit up and pain tore through me. My wings flew out and I screamed.

The gate was in front of me. Edward was standing in front of it. Al was sitting nearby. I ran up to Edward and tackled him. I pushed him towards th egate, pulling Al with him. The gate opened and pulled them through to our world. A white silhouette with a wide grin stood in front of me. "Two souls, an arm and a leg, and a body. What will you pay?" I closed my eyes. "All of me. Take my arm, my leg, my heart, my eyes... just let them live." His grin grew larger. "That is interesting." I fell to my knees in pain. My left wing, arm, leg, and eye disappeared. I screamed and there was a flash of white light. I was holding Edward again. His eyes fluttered and I held him. I saw Al sitting nearby. I didn't feel the pain anymore. I was just happy they were alive, though half of me was missing. Edward looked down at his arm and leg, now flesh. Al hadn't woken up. Mustang rushed to his side and put a coat over him. "She did it.." He mumbled. He looked over at me and realized what I had done. I hugged Edward with my one arm. He finally came into full consciousness and blinked a few times. His chest had healed and closed. He sat up and looked at me with terror. "What did you do? Ari?!" I closed my eye and tears fell out of it. "I'm not human. I can't live in this world anymore. I'm sorry." Starting from my left side, I started being disassembled by the black hands. I touched Edward's face and the last of me disappeared.
