I heard them calling for me. They begged me to come back.

I opened my eyes, the bright light filling my eyes.
"Hey!" Patrick called. "Sandy's awake!" He looked at me, a smile spreading across his face.
"Hey you," I peeped, forcing my voice to make noise.
"I'm so glad you're up!" He said, tears filling his eyes. A nurse rushed into the room, checking the monitors. She left the room.
"Why so emotional big cat? It's not like I've been gone that long." I joked.
"Sandra, you've been asleep for 3 weeks. I was so worried. I didn't know if you were going to wake up." He said, tears streaming from his eyes. I reached up my hand up, reaching for his face. As I touched his face, I felt all my energy seep out of my body. My fingers burned. Pat screamed out and moved away from me. A red mark appeared on his cheek, showing where my hand had hit. He backed away, tears streaming down his face.
"Pat. Come back. I-I didn't mean it." I stammered. Tears started pouring down my cheeks. "Please. Come back! Don't leave me." I sobbed as he left the room. I felt the tears simmer off my face. I looked at my hands. They gave off a faint glow. I wept. "This isn't a gift! This is a curse!" I shouted with rage. My hands began glowing brighter, turning red hot. The sheets underneath me caught fire. I jumped out of the bed, seeing the fire blazing. "Help! Help! The bed is burning!" I screamed, running into the hall. My nurse came running, seeing the bed ablaze.
"What did you do?!" She screamed, shattering the glass on the extinguisher case. She ran into the room, spraying the bed. The fire died down, and my glow started to diminish.
"I just, well, I got upset. I accidentally burned Patrick and then he ran away. I was so frustrated and then the sheets caught fire. I don't know what happened." I explained," I want this nightmare to end! Please! Let me wake up!" I yelled, sinking onto the floor.
"Sandra. This isn't a dream anymore. You are awake. This is real." She said, looking down at me. I shook with emotion, glowing brightly. Two men came to me, dressed in fire proof suits. They took me by the arms and lead me to the kitchen. They shoved me into the walk in freezer, closing the hatch behind me. I pounded on the door, screaming and yelling, leaving black scorch marks where my hands made contact. I kicked and screamed until I wore myself out. I sat down, watching my skin change colors again. The glow went away, as did the heat. I felt cold. So cold. I curled up in a ball on the floor. I rubbed my arms, trying to warm myself. The cold coated me. I suddenly became so tired. I struggled to keep my eyes open. I drifted once more to sleep.
