TYLER POV:
I opened the door to my house, and my parents were standing there waiting for me.
"Who's car?" My dad asked.
"Oh my friend Josh's. I met him yesterday at work."
"Does he go to school with you?" my mom asked.
"Yeah. He's nice. And I lov-I uh, I like his style." I replied, grateful I didn't say I loved Josh.
"So.. Uh... About school... I got detention..."
"WHAT?" my parents both said at the same time.
"On your first day?!" my dad screamed.
"What on earth did you do?!" my mom asked.
"I.. Uh... Climbed a tree......."
My dad walked out of the room.
"You climbed a tree?!?" My mom looked angry.
"Yeah, but it's okay. I wasn't the only one..." I laughed slightly. My laughter faded.
"Who else was involved?" my mom asked.
"Josh......"
"But mom it's my fault. I got mad, and climbed the tree. Josh came up after me, and made me feel better."
She didn't look too convinced.
"Josh is a great guy. He's nice. And he's always there. It wasn't his fault. I swear"

JOSH POV:
I walked into my house, and grabbed a pop from the fridge.
"Hi mom! Hey dad!"
They were both sitting in the living room. Waiting for me.
"Where were you???" my mom asked.
"Oh I just dropped my friend Tyler off at his house"
"We got a call from the principle." My dad told me.
My smile faded.
"Detention on your first day back??" My mom said tapping her foot impatiently, waiting for an explanation.
"Well, you see. My friend Tyler got sad. So he climbed a tree. And I followed him. And I cheered him up. Then the principle saw us. And she gave us detention slips. It was really my fault. I climbed after him."
"We are very disappointed, Josh. To your room. Now." My dad pointed up the stairs.
