"Selena can we talk?" I look up at Ross.
"Okay" I replied. I glance at Riker. He texted me.
If anything happens tell me
He was so overprotective .
I nodded and we went upstairs. I stood by the stairs.
"Selena I really like you" then Ross leaned in for a kiss. I step back and push his lips away. "Ross!" I snap.

I knew Riker was watching.

"You can't. I'm taken. By your brother. I'm sorry I can't kiss you" I say.
"Riker doesn't need to know" he reasons. I roll my eyes. "youre 14!"
"Riker does know" Riker stepped forward and pushed Ross to the away. "Stop trying to get with all my girlfriends Ross!" He growled.
"Riker lets go" I urge him.
"With pleasure" he replies pulling me into his room - gently.

"Did you kiss him?" He asked. My eyes widened. "Ew no!" I cringed.
"Tell me everything - please" he says.
"Ross said he liked me and leaned in for a kiss. I went backwards and said I can't kiss him cos I like you. Then he was like 'Riker doesn't have to know' and then you came" I explain.
He pulled me into a hug. Then my cheek was wet. I look up. He's crying.

"Riker I'm so sorry!" I stammer wiping them. "I just don't wanna lose you" he stutters. "You won't. I like you and only you" I promise. I knew there was more to this. "Riker do you wanna talk about it?" I ask. He nods.
"Every girlfriend I get, Ross always takes them from me. Even Sanaa. It always works and they fall for him and completely forget about me. Then they use me for Ross. Then when I get a new girlfriend, Ross dumps the old girlfriend and goes after the new one. That's why I was scared to bring you here. I thought something would happen. And something did" he whispered

I hug him and press our foreheads together. "If he tries kissing me I will slap him. And I'm serious" I say.
"Your sexy when your scary" Riker says randomly. I laugh. We go downstairs and everyone was playing sing it. Rocky tossed me a remote and played Stressed Out by Twenty One Pilots.

I wish I found some better sounds no one's ever heard
I wish I had a better voice that sang some better words
I wish I found some chords in an order that is new
I wish I didn't have to rhyme every time I sang

I was told when I get older all my fears would shrink
But now I'm insecure and I care what people think

I sang the rest perfectly! I loved twenty one pilots.
Everyone clapped when I finishedand I blushed. "That was amazing Selena!" Rydel says hugging me. I smiled
"Thanks" I say. No one ever compliments me so this is new.
"I never knew you sang babe" Riker says.
"Well you all know now!" I say.

Sorry by Justine Bieber came on. I mouthed the words to Riker.
"Why are you saying sorry?" Riker asks.
"cos i feel bad" I say.
"Your not babe. Didn't you get taught not to lie?" Riker scolds me playfully. I smile and kiss his cheek.
He's so sweet.
My phone buzzed.

Ryan: We need to hang!
I reply back
Sel: Okayyyyyyyy! Tomorrow lmao
I click my phone off and from the corner of my eye I saw Ross staring at me. I texted him
Selena❤️: Ross I'm sorry but we can't go out. I'm sure you will find a girl better than me :)
He looked at his phone. He glanced at me and I looked at Riker.

"Your staring at me creepily" Riker laughs. "Sorry but you need to not be attractive then" I joke. He pulled me onto his lap and tickled me. I laughed. I'm so lucky.
